Zack Annexstad, the true freshman walk-on QB, goes 3 and out on his first drive. His first career pass was a 3rd down throw to a wide open Tyler Johnson who dropped a first down.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:09 PM ^
Dude dropped a perfect pass.

Scary moment in the UCF-UConn game. On the opening kickoff a UCF player, Aaron Robinson, is down motionless on the field and being carted off.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:12 PM ^
I wonder if he’s related to Denard. Being a dreadlocked Robinson from Deerfield Beach and all.
*Glad his legs are moving

I'm digging the Minny uni. Looks good.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:16 PM ^
Funny. The only reason they're wearing them is they didn't get their home uniforms in time for the game.
Edit: Had it reversed, NMSU doesn't have their whites so Minnesota is wearing theirs.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:17 PM ^
I thought it was because of NM...I'm probably wrong.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:19 PM ^
Nope you're right, I had it backwards. NMSU doesn't have their whites yet.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:17 PM ^
NMSU @ Minny doesn't even feel like a Div 1 game.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:18 PM ^
True freshman, walk-on QB for Minnesota. That's a problem Jack.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:26 PM ^
He looks ok to me so far.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:43 PM ^
He does, but it IS NM State.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:06 PM ^
They're really starting a true freshman walk on? What the hell happened up there? We're all the other qb's murdered by an assistant greens keeper?
August 30th, 2018 at 7:20 PM ^
A first down!!
August 30th, 2018 at 7:22 PM ^
The criss crossed six shooters is pretty cool logo. I don't think I've ever seen that on a helmet.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:27 PM ^
Just tuned in to the College Football Show to hear Joey Galloway say Shea Patterson might struggle because Michigan only sends two receivers out on pass plays. :-\
August 30th, 2018 at 7:38 PM ^
protip - don’t watch espn unless live sports are on. you can thank me later
August 30th, 2018 at 7:47 PM ^
I had a slight relapse.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:47 PM ^
At least he agreed that the Urban Meyer suspension was weak.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:04 PM ^
Okay Joey. Shea will kill it because he has a kick ass ground game. Every sign points to this offense becoming outstanding. Now Michigan has a mobile quarterback who can take the ball up the field with his feet and he's a pretty accurate passer. He's no Denard but he won't need to be. You basically have a smaller and maybe not as naturally athetic talent as Gardner. Now this new Gardner has every piece around him he needs this go around. Go get bent buckeye homer and to hell with those leprechaun worshiping freaks.
August 30th, 2018 at 9:21 PM ^
So some guy called in to a talking head radio show today (I know, my bad) to pimp ND. He said without Tarik Black, UM had no receivers and a mediocre QB from a bottom feeder SEC team. He doesn't see any way UM will possibly move the ball. Another guy said Michigan's defense was overrated all last year, and will be again this year.
I really don't understand why they are so confident in their two QB's...
August 31st, 2018 at 9:51 AM ^
No one with rational takes calls into a radio show. And if they do, they don't make it past the screener because listeners don't care to hear "it'll be a close game!" from some random nobody.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:47 PM ^
Joey g is a completely useless turd.
August 30th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
Joey Galloway still pees the bed
August 30th, 2018 at 7:28 PM ^
Want to watch NW-Purdue. Wonder how the new train tracks sideline looks!
August 30th, 2018 at 8:44 PM ^
Pretentious.
August 30th, 2018 at 11:22 PM ^
I like em.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:28 PM ^
I took NW with the points. Can't wait
August 30th, 2018 at 7:43 PM ^
Uh, this same NMSU team lost to Wyoming by 3 scores at home last week.
Minnesota might not be good this year.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:45 PM ^
They're starting a true freshman walk on at QB. You can change the "might" to "will"
August 30th, 2018 at 11:34 PM ^
Reeths-Puffer is gone put up some points on NMSU...
August 30th, 2018 at 7:45 PM ^
Minnesota looks real bad.
Also looking real bad: the Lions' backups.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:48 PM ^
Both of those are things we should be used to.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:47 PM ^
Just saw on the ticker that Notre Dame lost a CB to a torn ACL. Is this new news? I believe his name was Shaun Crawford.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:49 PM ^
No. Announced earlier today. It was posted to the board when it was announced but you know...football. So yeah, it's already off the front page.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:50 PM ^
It's not news at this point, it was posted on the board earlier.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:52 PM ^
Is it older than 30min news? If yes it has 100% been discussed extensively already. (Crawford was a M commit/decommit during the Hoke era btw.). If no - it still probably is on the board already.
August 30th, 2018 at 7:56 PM ^
I didnt realize people still posted about football on here so I was unawares.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:02 PM ^
Prediction: at least one Purdue player or coach will be ejected from the game. Problems with self-control have been evident for some time.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:14 PM ^
Someone lost their cool in the locker room.
August 30th, 2018 at 9:42 PM ^
Ok, that was funny. I see what you did there....
August 30th, 2018 at 11:59 PM ^
Ironically they lost because of this. Dirty rat bastards deserved it. I’m still pissed about the no call on the DT that went super fly snooka on Speights neck.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:03 PM ^
Go Cats! Beat purdont!
August 30th, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
Mariah Taylor has huge hands. And there goes my self confidence....
August 30th, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
IIRC, she was a big time college volleyball player.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
What is on the NW helmet? Bill the Cat?
August 30th, 2018 at 8:16 PM ^
ACK !! PFFT !!
August 30th, 2018 at 8:11 PM ^
Purdue looks pretty darn good. I think they beat NW.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:12 PM ^
Not a huge fan of that PI call against Northwestern.
August 30th, 2018 at 8:14 PM ^
Horrible pass from Sindelar. Late, over the middle, avoiding a sack....
