CC:Stop suggesting RR may resign and go to Pitt

Submitted by DesHow21 on

For one, he isn't a moron and i\even if he does have a brain fart his agent will not let him leave 2.5 Mill on the table.

Even if he wants to go to Pitt (or UConn), he will keep his mouth shut, get fired, pick up his check and THEN sign on with the Big Least where he will no doubt start owning fools like he used to. Just because MSM idiots who have zero understanding of contracts suggest something, it doesn't mean it is a viable option.

If he resigns, he owes Michigan $2.5M. If he gets fired, he gets $2.5M. Since he will know within roughly 48 hours or less whether he’s fired or not, he has no reason to make the first move.

1.)  It is an incredibly lazy nickname

2.)  It was the first game of the season and they had no idea what to expect from Denard. If we played them at the end of the season, they would probably win.

3.)  They shot themselves in the foot over and over again all game

4.) The B1G got their collective asses handed to them this bowl season so we are in no position to mock other conferences.

Pitt? Yeah, because that is such an appealing job right now.

If RR becomes available, he will be snapped up by Clemson. They will not let him get away a second time. Actually, we better hope Clemson does not scrounge $2.5 million together to buy out RR's contract at Michigan, because if they can we might find out what it really feels like to become a national laughingstock.

Dabo Swinney fired both his OC and RB coach a couple days ago. Doesn't really sound like a situation where they're looking to oust Swinney just yet.  Then again, stranger things have certainly happened.

fwiw I've been told from friends in the AD that RR had asked DB to fire him well before New Years. Again, it's just speculation but I agree that RR himself won't resign. He has nothing to gain from that.
