Put money on it we are hearing about ole miss and some scandals 5 years from now.

It won't matter what Mr.Freeze will be doing this is coming.

Still can't explain how they pull off top 5 recruiting classes out of nowhere last couple years.

One of these kids is driving a lambo :)

I believe that had something to do with a transfer who was all set to transfer/enroll at Nebraska and than changed his mind and went to Ole Miss almost out of nowhere. Pelini expressed some skepticism that everything involved with his decision was above board.

I'm not sold on Freeze; Florida may have caught a break there. Especially seemingly being one of the cleaner programs in the SEC, Florida can get someone better who doesn't have a cloud of dirty smoke hanging overhead...

The new normal.

Wait until they expand the playoff from 4 to 8, and the pressure really falls on programs to make the 8.  The war for talent and coaches is going to heat to red hot.

(We're seeing the pressure to get to the top 4 now, but only a small handful of teams have a legitimate claim or hope for that.  But with an 8 team playoff the number of programs that can hope/reach goes to 12 or so ... and I think we'll see about that many programs step up the arms race big time to be in that super-group of 12 competing for a slot in the 8.)

Sit around and chill for 360 days a year, float a thinly-sourced rumor about your client being considered for a job, day or 2 of negotiations for a new contract with the lawyers doing the heavy lifting, pass Go and collect 10%.

A. Florida won't hire or even consider Rich. Their desires are very clear and they seem wedded to a pro style offense, otherwise this search would have settled on Mullen by now. McElwain remains their ideal candidate, posessing the allegedly perfect mix of pro and SEC experience they're after. Behind him is anyone's guess, but pains have been taken to stress that RR isn't on it.

B. Rich would take the job unless he's really dumb.

as they already ruled him out.

I wonder if any of the bigger schools will take a swing at him this year?  Given his track record and what he's done at Zona in a few years, I would think most programs would now view his time at Michigan as an aberration.

Since everyone is calling shots these days I'll call mine - Les Miles to Michigan, then RichRod to LSU.  LSU fans want offense, after all.
