Cardale Jones and Shane Wynn: Not visiting for Big Chill per ESPN

Submitted by 2014 on December 7th, 2010 at 11:50 AM

Cardale Jones & Shane Wynn won't be visiting this weekend for the Big Chill:

  • Cardale is taking the ACT. Still planning on visiting sometime in January
  • Wynn has a basketball game Friday night and "needs to discuss his visits with Ted Ginn Sr." (that's probably telling)

Whoa no need to flip out, I just don't understand why they would be visiting this weekend according to Tom but yet have these things already going on. I just don't understand why this has not been mentioned before. I am not faulting the OP for anything. Just looking for clarification as to what is really going on. Sorry if it sounded like I was being a dick to the OP, but I wasn't trying to be.

I have to admit - I'm a bit upset with Tom at not being the person that broke this news on MGoBlog.

To have to find out from someone else cuts deep, kind of like the time I found out that my mother was having an affair with my best friend from a reporter for the local town newspaper.  Wait.  What were we talking about again?

Ginn Sr. was pissed at Lloyd Carr for not offering his son until it's too late.  Lloyd Carr recruited him to play at CB and Ted Ginn Jr. didn't have a good camp at Michigan(came away with no offer).  OSU offerred him to play WR.  Ginn committed to OSU.  Carr finally offerred Ginn as a WR, but it was too late.  Ironically, Ted Ginn really wanted to go to Michigan and was willing to go to Ann Arbor to earn an offer from Carr.  Carr could've had Ted Ginn at WR.

Also, Carr could've had DeSean Jackson but chose Lateryal Savoy over Jackson.  Why?  I will never know.

Wynn's already stated he isn't all that interested and we all know Glenville's overall vendetta against Michigan. Jones is still a possibility but I think UM is the last place Wynn will end up at.

Ginn strikes again.  The day we get someone from that school, I will buy a round for everyone at my local bar.  Maybe a shot of Ginn, i mean gin.
