Buckeye recruit question
Curious for guys that follow a little closer. The Buckeyes whiffed pretty big the last couple of weeks, do they have some extra schollies open or did they pilfer some kids from Ball St. to fill out their class. They were in on so many guys it seems that they had to go 1 way or another yesterday.

no last-ditch offers (a la kenny guiton last year). 2 schollies available. still long shots for latwan anderson (unsigned, though depending on who you ask that ship may have sailed) and if you really want to reach, seantrel henderson (technically unsigned and supposedly waiting to hear what the NCAA will hand down to USC)

is that they got some key depth fillers and established a solid if unremarkable class, but struck out on the REALLY big fish they wanted. A true personification of Jim Tressel class, if you will. I'll leave the in depth analysis to one of the in-depth analyzers on the board.

Not sure if this warrants it's own post, so I'll tack it on here. Decent article in the Dispatch last Sunday ranking Tressel's classes against national rankings (Rivals). Interesting that some of his biggest players were three star recruits.

And, yes, they are still counting days in the upper left corner. Must be better than counting player arrests...

OSU had limited scholarships this year and did not send out any last minute offers. They still pulled in a very good class and will have more scholly's next year. We just need to beat them for Trey DePriest and, dare I say, Braxton Miller, among many others.

With us now having young, solid QB depth I highly doubt he comes to M with OSU having Pryor entering his senior year.

Which really sucks, this will in turn mean we will miss out on Depriest. I think he will end up going to school where ever Miller ends up so they can finally play together.
