More important to me is this:

"[Schiano] wanted to know what to sell [on OSU]. I said the academics. I told him about the academic presentation I had from the school, and that we weren't happy with it," Coney told NJ.com. "And you don't get a second chance at an academic presentation when I know how serious academics are.

"He told me what he did at Rutgers and I said I heard that academics were paramount at Rutgers when he was there. And he said he's going to do the same thing at Ohio State. And I said, 'Well, that's good, but signing day is right around the corner and there is no luxury of time. We don't have it.'  And he said, 'Well, I'm not talking about weeks, I'm talking about getting to the bottom of it, right now.'"

Ordinarily I would agree with you but given how low those academic requirements are now it's not like he's got to move mountains here.

I heard he was going to start with requiring the people who they pay to take the tests for players to actually attend the class and not just get the answers handed to them by the teaching assistant.

He also said he's gonna head to their house after the dead period and give the presentation himself. I hope he does some research because I'm sure she'll have in-depth questions for him. Also Michigan doesn't try to have its coaches do the academic presentation alone which I think is significant since they're not professors.

If your program is that good should you have to ask what to be told to sell?

Harbaugh does not "sell" anything about the Michigan program.  He just talks about what it is in its essence and allows it to sell itself.
