that if we lock this game up by the 4th, msu WILL go after Rudock. We lose him and we genuinely may not win another game based on the things I've heard from many people that have always given me solid tidbits. There is a reason we brought in two transfers, think about it. Don't be stunned if two QBs transfer out.

Perhaps you are right or...

You are playing a dangerous mind game which is border line an appeal to the transitive property of football . We like to believe that teams with their talent level just lay waste every week. But humans are wierd.

I think I'm just practicing restraint in condeming a 17 game winning streak, defending national championship team for not blowing teams out.

People around here are getting pretty uppity, which I understand given recent history, but I think we should all collectively "pump the brakes" a bit here. Lets see how Saturday goes, then talk.

I think we'll win, but I'm a lot more nervous about it than many seem to be.

Don't get me wrong I'm just as shell shocked and nervous from the last 8 years as many Wolveine fans. I'm also supremely confident in this coaching staff and many of the players. We haven't won anything yet but I sure like the trajectory this team is on and can see where I might lead if it continues. Clearly I'm not alone. Many others, including a healthy portion of buck nation, see it too.

When they say things like "take away the special teams, and defensive scores and they do not look impressive at all" delusional is the only word that could possibly describe them.

By all means beat them. Beat them into the ground, and hear the lamentations of their women. Most of their fan's still sound like they have moved to la la land this week.

And you don't think that some of that is just Urban tinkering, seeing what he can and can not get away with? I really think they're just trying to limit QB carries, he knows their real tough games are in November. I doubt they've forgotten their QB injuries from last year.

should look at late in the Indiana game, and the Maryland game. Urban is sandbagging, and if everyone assumes those last quarters are garbage time and skips them, they'll be missing the real threats. He threw the sandbags over the rail when he had too.

Some of it may be due to experimentation or Urban Meyer showing various looks (a solid point), but the fact is that they had trouble putting away both Northern Illinois and Indiana. Both are surprisingly good teams, but championship teams have that killer instinct... that consistent ability to keep an opponent down and then step on their collective throat. Michigan seems (from this outsider's perspective) to have that capability and willingness to be nasty this year. It's not something that I've seen from them in a very long time ('97?). OSU does not (or hasn't shown it yet).

As things stand now, they should be.  OSU hasn't looked as good as we thought they would and Michigan has looked far better, through 6 games.

Of course that's as things are today.
