He's going to have Thomas in his ear all game, and probably will have a good talk with Hoke and Borges and then have (as everyone does) a great game experience in the Big House.

With Fickell seemingly on the way out and OSU going on the coaching search after the season, I can easily see Dunn going Blue after his visit.

I think he's waiting on what happens to OSU to make a choice.  Even if he's blown away this weekend, he makes it sound like his decision is based entirely on whether or not OSU gets a bowl ban.

This can only help Michigan's case and standing in his eyes, but I think he's still very invested in osu and wants to see how things shake out there before switching his commitment.  What if osu escapes a bowl probation and hires a real top flight coach?  They could be good again in a REAL hurry.  Any talk of buckling up is way premature, imo.

A lot of Ohio people think that  hiring of Urban Meyer would be just as bad as any severe penalties may get from the NCAA in regards to Dunn. He doesn not want to play in a spread. I never completely understood it since Ohio has more than a few spread principles with Miller, but a lot of them sure do think he is gone for sure if they hire Urban.

An interview last week said that Armani wasn't thinking about decommitting Penn State (his teammate at CM, Camren Williams was also a solid verbal). However, considering that it's looking like Penn State's entire coaching staff will be gone after this season, I could see him decommitting. I don't know if Armani will be a target though. I'm not sure where he'll end up. We are high on Yuri Wright's list....

I mentioned this in another thread, but the PSU commits are going to have a while to think about the situation before it gets cleared up, and spots are filling up at the other good options.  This is not a typical coaching change where a coach gets fired or retires at the end of the season and a new guy in hired a week or two later.

I'm not saying every PSU commit bails, but I bet more do than normally would.

Going by what I've seen thus far and not what I think will happen. I think there are some players who want to go to Penn State for Penn State, but I think there are several others who will decommit and look elsewhere. From those interviews, it sounded like Schutt, Williams, and Reeves were solid at the time, but a lot has changed since then. A lot more stuff has come out and change is inevitable. I don't know if Michigan is in the position to pick those guys up given the guys we already have committed and the limited spots we have. It's a wait and see deal.

I think we're on the same page on this.

His cousin said that if OSU suffered a bowl ban, Brionte would probably switch, but he was sworn to secrecy about the school.  Dunn said that if he decommitted, his three possible schools were Michigan, Miami (YTM) and Penn State.

Let's see.  One of those has made a huge turnaround and is an up-and-coming program, one of them faces sanctions because of a booster gone wild, and the third one is imploding so badly that the east suburbs of Pittsburgh are now the west suburbs of Philly.

Nice that he's coming to this game and not OSU. In 2001, Maurice Clarrett used an official visit here while committed to the Buckeyes just to get a ringside seat to The Game.

we can exploit their banged up Dline. We gashed a good Illinois front 7 for close to 150 yds rushing in the first quarter last week, hopefully we can do more of the same. Also a good time for Dymonte to visit when our secondary goes up against a QB with an arm like a broke T-shirt cannon.
