Brandon Graham guarantees victory against MSU
“We’re not going to lose to State. We are going to work hard. We’re gonna win.”

This would be great if it were Mike Hart saying it last year.
Great idea -- piss off your rival who is leaps and bounds better than you this year. This just makes us look like the Little Engine That Could. What you're supposed to do is come in dejectedly and then play four quarters like you did in the first quarter against PSU.

Methinks the Vegas people understand that Sparty is a team with a one-dimensional offense. Our D does pretty well against a team that mainly runs the ball in a straightforward way - we did a good job against Wisconsin, for example, as Wisco mainly scored due to being given the ball in or close to FG range to start most of their drives in the first half. Hoyer isn't all that good and their receivers are not exactly sure-handed, with no Devin Thomas in the bunch this year. Hoyer isn't as mobile as Evridge either. This seems like a game where we should have a good chance to win if Threet can stay on the field.

Man, I can't believe the season has come to this.

After MSU's humiliating loss to OSU they are going to have a major hangover and even though Michigan lost 46-17 alot of good came out of that game(in the first half at least) and since the MSU offense consists of Ringer left and Ringer Right im not impressed .
If threet stays healthy througout Michigan by at least 10

But that doesn't make it cool. You the type of cynical Michigan fan that I despise.
Also, predicting that your team will lose a game against a top 5 team is not the same as guaranteeing they will lose to an unranked team. FYI.

I don't make predictions because I think it makes me look cool. I don't enjoy expecting us to lose a game and I hate seeing it.
I make predictions because, well, I think it's what's going to happen. Don't take it personally that I think we are going to lose and I'm not some kind of homer. What you call cynicism is what I call impartiality. FWIW I thought we would blow out Michigan State last year, so I don't always err on the pessimistic side. We're in the middle of the worst season since 1967. We haven't played a single game this year in which we played more than about 20 minutes of competent football. I see no sign that will change this weekend or for any weekend until next year. Don't blame the messenger.

Do you honestly think that if he hadn't said anything, MSU would come into the game feeling happy and overconfident?
Really, this stuff is meaningless. It just makes for media hype.
