*Seth approved names. I combined them. If this thread gets huge we could split it for te second game. But I doubt it for these. But football! And Rich and Arizona start it off vs. a bad Nevada team, followed by some more sorta local interest in Toledo vs.....Utah State. Did I say at least it's new college football?

Arizona had the ball with ~1:40 to go, drove right down the field and scored; they had a sequence where they ran the exact same play along the sideline four times in a row for 10 yards a pop.  Recovered onside kick.  Big pass to the Nevada 22, then two more plays to score with 0:19 to go.  Game over.

Watching that last couple minutes, I think that may be one of the first times we witnessed a team not only melt down, but indeed sublimate and disappear into the air like so many molecules right before our eyes.

Neither of these teams could play defense to save their lives, but that was an incredibly fun game to watch.  Congrats to RR on the win, but Nevada had one of the worst breakdowns I think I've seen in college football.  Losing a 13-point lead in a minute and a half, to a team without a timeout, is the definition of falling apart.

Common theme with Ault these past 7 years or so. The only season he didn't choke away at least 2 games, was 2010 year we (engineering alum) had a RS senior Kaep. I'm not irrational, I'd gladly take 8-4 and playing second fiddle to Boise -please don't leave- but these choke jobs are infuriating. Whether it's shit clock management or crappy D, the conservative atmosphere the Ault has is sickening.

P.S. Ault needs to take some notes from a Redskins game.

Tough breaks for Toledo losing a couple of their top players to injury early on. And does anyone else like both of these teams helmets? I especially like the USU ones when you see them close up.

Picked Utah St to win this game. I only put 2 points on this game and 1 on Arizona. Still amazed they won that game. Wanna be 2-0 CMON UTAH ST
