wow Rich Rod! this is like teh Illinois game

Arizona is going to pull it out. The Nevada coach was rightly livid after two blown calls by the refs on the previous TD.

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?! I WAS WATCHING THE BASKETBALL GAME!

Arizona had the ball with ~1:40 to go, drove right down the field and scored; they had a sequence where they ran the exact same play along the sideline four times in a row for 10 yards a pop. Recovered onside kick. Big pass to the Nevada 22, then two more plays to score with 0:19 to go. Game over.

Watching that last couple minutes, I think that may be one of the first times we witnessed a team not only melt down, but indeed sublimate and disappear into the air like so many molecules right before our eyes.

I'd say that it was a sublime experience.
December 15th, 2012 at 4:42 PM ^
lulz, I'm glad we have a defense

One lucky onside kick recovery later, and Arizona wins the game.
Defense wat is defense.

Yeahhh I got 6 points from Arizona!

I missed the end of the game watching basketball. How did Zona win?
December 15th, 2012 at 4:45 PM ^
Marched down the field in the two-minute offense, scored, helped by a couple PI flags including one in the endzone for the automatic 1st down on the 2, recovered onside kick, marched down the field again.

Neither of these teams could play defense to save their lives, but that was an incredibly fun game to watch. Congrats to RR on the win, but Nevada had one of the worst breakdowns I think I've seen in college football. Losing a 13-point lead in a minute and a half, to a team without a timeout, is the definition of falling apart.

P.S. Ault needs to take some notes from a Redskins game.

Great for Rich Rod. Hopefully that's the start of some good things for Zona on his watch.
December 15th, 2012 at 4:52 PM ^
I agree, but holy hell RR's got to figure the defensive thing out or he's going to crash and burn eventually there too.

I'm convinced the Pac-12 doesn't play defense. Lump the Big 12 in there as well.

glad for Rich Rod. wasn't a good fit for Michigan, but he will do good things at Arizona.

Goooooo rockets!

I am doing my part by watching the Potato Bowl and eating potato chips

Tough breaks for Toledo losing a couple of their top players to injury early on. And does anyone else like both of these teams helmets? I especially like the USU ones when you see them close up.
