But I think, based on an earlier thread, that it would definitely be illegal. If you take the "copy" things off it would make a pretty awesome wallpaper.

And even if you can't you should be able to recreate it in Gimp
I don't know karate
But I know ca-razy
Aside from the legal reasons why you can't make this shirt it would cost a fortune to print. I count 7 or 8 different colors.
EDIT: See this thread for details on legality issues. http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/copyright-question-concerning-t-shirts

and was wondering if you considered making the shirts and running it as a break-even operation--the legal guys on the thread always said that you run into branding issues when you sell for profit. Assuming this wasn't your personal get-rich-quick scheme, why not do it?
I think it would be an awesome shirt, but it looks pretty complex. Probably not worth the time/money. You could turn that into a nice icon/wallpaper, though. I'll give you props on making it. Looks pretty cool.
Nice work! love the payback theme.
I hope 2010 is the year of the payback, like RRod says about being humbled enough.
I count 18 separate incidences here that could land you in court. But hey, isn't LiveTrace freakin' sweet??
EDIT: I should say, though, you've got great composition here. The diagonals on that thing are killer. I might suggest bringing the headline closer, making it more a part of the art itself... but yeah, aesthetically speaking, well done.
...if I can get the same number.

nah, this is Fly-errrrrr
might also be a good idea to hold off on
statements like "The Big Payback 2010" until we've actually done something on the football field. I like the enthusiasm but unfortunately it smells a bit like ND's perpetual "Returning to Glory" guarantees and we all know that's turned out.
go blue.
lol.
love getting negged for this.
I like it. I don't think James Brown will care about the Big Payback, his tune, but there are others, some that I don't know. If you can get through the red tape and get it up and running, I'll buy two. If you take it to a printer, he's going to want to mass produce, or it'll cost you a fortune. Let us know if you get it in print.
p.s. I got one of the "The power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Forcier" shirts last year, I got it before the copyright people got involved, "Lucaswear", I love it.
of the film, The Big Payback (for which JB wrote the song) will care, although JB is groovin' with the angels now...

Although, and I'd be happy to take comments on this, I could go for playing James Brown and the Famous Flames in this recording of The Big Payback pre-game and during the Circle of Death...
This has given me a great idea to bring my copy of "Star Time" to the UConn tailgate. Seems appropriate...
Dude, you have some obvious talent. Why don't you do some work for the Mgoblog Banner contest? I think you would do really well.

Looks sweet. My only suggestion would be to make Denard's face not blue. It looks a little odd. Other than that - why isn't something like this in the banner contest? Nice work.
We are all Blue here, there are no other colors (except Maize).
