I thought the Stadium was going to take off. And then I had an urge to build a mountain out of mashed potatoes.

Well, for next year if Nebraska or Ohio State games kick off at ~3:30 they'll be very dark before half.  Although the last few times OSU has been in AA the games have been at 12...so we might not be that lucky.

I think you can mark that one down as an BC primtetime game unless there is another one first. I would imagine the first night game at the Big House would be a pretty big pull and throw the rivalry on top of it and it has all of the makings for a big time game.

This makes me so effing excited. Can you imagine what standing in that shadow with 113,000 of your closest friends wearing Maize and screaming your face off and celebrating each Michigan touchdown is going to feel like?

that the blue car stopped in panic - like the Close Encounters mothership was landing - and his map and coins and ipod were all floating to the roof ceiling.

We would run the steps in the stadium at night back in the early 80's to stay in shape. This was way before stairclimbers and elliptical machines for you youngsters. Lights would have been nice. Wonder if they will turn them on during Saturdays game?

Just got back from a run down there.  Snuck into Chrysler as they were cleaning up and snuck out into the Stadium.  The field looks absolutely amazing, I can't wait for the ND game.

I was walking my dog near the stadium a few minutes ago (very dark outside) and the glow from the stadium was pretty impressive.  I obviously didnt see the inside/the field but based on the light coming from those strips it seems like there will be plenty of light for night games.  Might be a dumb question...but maybe they're LED?

They are very low-profile it seems like they could be LED.   I don't think LED lights are all that powerful, so probably not LED.

Also, I didn't realize it's done and they'll be on during the Wisconsin game:
