Biff Poggi says he wants to coach at Michigan

It was posted that he left the Gilman program and there was speculation about a position with M, hadn't heard him speak on it until now. Interesting read. Didn't know he also had a daughter on the crew team. Critical tidbit:

“Here we are with our last child in seventh grade and I really want to do the Michigan thing, but I don’t want to do it more than I want to do what’s best for my daughter," Poggi said. "That’s what we’re considering.

Isn't that just like coaching a all star team though? My understanding is the best players elect to go there for the exposure. Maybe I am wrong but that probably isn't the hardest school to coach at with the talent they have.

Throwing this out there from the culo region but Tom Knotts would be interesting. Dutch Fork now and Independence HS before that. Took a year off to coach at Duke. Google his streak at Independence and some of the talent he worked with.
