Best guess at next hello post. (Who will it be?)

I’m thinking 2013 offensive linemen. Cameron hunt Or maybe even Dawson!

What do you think ? I'm  curious to here from some of you that are much more informed than I am.

It seems like something should happen soon (in the next couple of weeks).  We have all of those offered linemen coming in on December 14 with just one spot available, and some of the other kids considering us (McQuay & Green, I think) will supposedly be early enrollees.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Dawson will commit before those other kids get the chance on December 14, but that's really just a guess.

I think it will be Dawson before his visit, he's been up to UM numerous times and was a commit before. If he doesn't commit on his visit to OSU he will be committing with us I would guess, with that said if he does commit to OSU then its going to be Hunt or Leon Mcquay. Leon is suppose to be a EE so his decision will be coming soon I would guess.

As soon as Dawson said he was going to stay north after his decommitment I said on a topic that I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in our class.  It was mostly rejected, but I think it will totally happen now as do others.  Dawson may have snuck around behind the coaches backs, and that is not something I am fan of, but in prior interviews and articles written about him, he does seem like an intelligent and more importantly, good person.  I think he stays in state, and at this point I don't think he hates Michigan enough to play for a mediocre rival.  I think he commits before the 14th.

To actually answer the question in this topic, I think Green will be our next commit.  He's enrolling early and needs to make a decision.  With the situations of the other schools he's considering, I think he'll choose us.

not responsive to topic, but there is a new ACC QB on the market again:

while he might be a mortal lock for Wiscy in 2014, I saw a thread about Montana's kid being in contact with UM, the assumption being the staff is looking at QB depth in 2014 if Gardner goes pro or doesn't get a RS. A kid from UVa with 22 starts isn't a bad backup option. So you wonder if there might be a contact there soon.

Ive heard rumors that Treadwell announced his top 3 and Michigan was not in it...has anyone else heard that or am I just hearing things.  (I know this is about next to commit but he could be one of them....maybe)

I guess he named a top 2.

Treadwell plans to visit Oklahoma on Dec. 14. "I really don't have a timeframe (for a decision)," Treadwell said. "I would say Ole Miss and Oklahoma are the frontrunners and it will come down to my other official visit to see where I'll land." Treadwell will play in the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 5. He said he will not be making a verbal commitment at that game.

Wow , its crazy that UM has fallen that far with him. He hasn't even visited OU yet and he was extremely close to committing to us over the summer. It honestly just seems completely unbelievable , I guess recruiting really is confusing. Lol, just because the coaches didn't contact him as much. That's odd.

but in this article (link) from Alabama's Scout page he makes the following quote:

"My top three schools are Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State and the main reason is how they use their wideouts."

So obviously this is not a postive for Michigan's recruitment of the young man.

I've been saying all along that I think OU and Oklahoma State are his best options.  Michigan just hasn't done a good job of using its wide receivers in recent years, and the Sooners and Cowboys have done a great job.  Michigan wants to be Wisconsin or Stanford with hefty linemen, multiple tight ends, and some grind-it-out running backs.  I really think receivers are going to be on the back burner in this offense.

You can partially thank Borges for this. Surprised more kids don't change their minds. I know i know im a dbag, but its a reality. Drob had been bailing him out and when that went away, fantastic plays by DG were the answer. Do we have a good line? No. Will we? Yes. As it stands if I'm a top WR, im going somewhere the O is not in flux.

Out offense is great for receivers. Just look at how devin is throwing the ball. You can't say they recruited Shane Morris with his cannon of an arm, just to hand it off.

Maybe it is just me but I liked how our offense has been looking as of late scheme wise. Of course not including second half against ohio.
