Bennie Logan got an LSU offer, effect?
So it appears off the scout free forums that Bennie Logan has got an LSU offer. So this leads to two questions that I find discussion worthy.(Without trying to "fish" for premium info)
1. What are our chances with Logan? I recall reading somewhere that LSU was a favorite if they offered.
2. If Logan jumps on the LSU offer, is that enough to tip Montgomery to our favor (both M and LSU would have two DEs commited)?

The effect is his recruitment is essentially over.
And the inside guys at Scout believe LSU fell out of favor with Montgomery when Earl Lane was ousted. They've felt it was a Michigan/UNC/Tennessee battle since then.

I don't think a Bennie Logan affects where a Sam Montgomery goes anyways.

indicate they are no longer in the Montgomery sweepstakes

In my uneducated opinion, we need a bushel-full more of events to occur.

I think what would work out best is if M had 29 recruits already (UNC), then we might have a shot of all remaining players on our board.

I'd rather play for Butch Davis if I was a DL, and not a die hard Michigan fan...and he's from SC? I don't see how we beat out UNC for Montgomery. Hopefully he's a sucker for tradition.
