Beilein sighting
Tonight at the grand rapids Christian football game(where drake harris goes) John Belien was sitting in the crowd while Tom Izzo was on the sidelines. Drake is deciding between playing football and basketball.

I continue to forget amidst this football season that our hoops squad was pretty damn good last year and will make a ton of noise this year. I can't wait to see what Belien has up his sleeve considering the solid freshman class and the returning starters.

When he gauranteed victory in Ann Arbor last year, and he promised he'd send the Izzone back where they belonged, was he aware of the overcrowding and lack of funding that already plagued the state correctional system?

Ran into JB and recruits at rain break during WMU-UM game and JB/Drake were side by side.

and he told me that MSU is still in the picture with Harris, but he is far from the "MSU Lock" a lot of MSU fans think he is. My friend said the ND game really left an impression on Drake.

Don't sleep on them this year. Russell Byrd's finally healthy, and it's truly going to be addition by subtraction with last year's Seniors. They're not ranked, and they'll sneak up on some people. They'll be right there as the season ends.
I will say that it was very sweet to watch UM beat them last year at Crisler. I was with Russell's dad (and sitting with the other MSU families), so I had to behave myself, but on the inside my dad and I were beaming.

between basketball and football. He's so dogone good at both, I wouldn't be surprised if Beilein made a call to the Hokester cause he is one heck of an athlete. Christian also has a kicker named Joel Schipper who made a 45yd field goal off the ground. Watch out for him next year on the recruiting trail(although he is an Ohio $%@# lean)
