I know. Holtz actually shut his mouth after the game. I pointed him out to my fiancee and told her about him. She asked, "Is that why he isn't saying anything?" I said, "It's either that or his speech impediment finally got the best of him." I think his whole world just ended.

and was loving it! Lou was running his mouth before the game and I believe he said something along the lines of "wait until tonight" i.e. when he would be running it in May's face after a ND victory. He's such a jackass! GO BLUE!

Crap. Now Tate could be fucked. I think that anything Beano Cook says is a curse. That kid can play though.

Lou has to eat a good dose of humble pie, and rightfully so. There is being biased, and then there is Lou Holtz wearing his school colors on his sleeves. "Charlie Weis has to be the most underrated coach in the country," predictions that ND beats M and goes 11-0. You just can't do that. To his credit, it sounded like he said that Michigan handled itself with class. I was very impressed how Greg Mathews showed such poise by controlling himself and handing the ball to the ref. That was a very impressive way of avoiding excessive celebration.
