The Big Ten suspended a coach for gently shoving a player earlier this year. Yelling at your player within inches of his face is just about at that level.
When will fans start to admit that this kind of coaching isn't "tough love" it is abuse. It shouldn't be tolerated.

So with the way the games are going our tip off should be after 10 pm tonight.
Yes, it will be late. It will be well past midnight before it ends.
There was never any doubt in my mind that we would tip even close to 9:30. The game times are absurd. There is no good reason for the long break in between games two and three. Our game, being the last one, should be around the 7:30 slot, which would mean it would not start until 8:00, which is perfectly fine.
Oh there's good reason alright...
It involves the almighty dolla! Make these games into "sessions" and you make more money. Of course you have to clear people out during the break and that takes time.
I just wish we could have a normal game time for once. Both of our opening weekend games in the NCAA tournament were super late also. I can't start drinking until well after 10 AM when our games are this late.

It's a little infuriating watching Winston. Yes he's a good player, but I other than when he's played UM he hasn't looked all that good recently. Over the last 10 games he's shooting 54% from 2, 29% from 3, and has a 2.2:1 A/TO ratio. Those are fine numbers, but by comparison "offensively limited" Zavier Simpson is shooting 50% on 2pt, 27% from 3, and has a 2.7:1 A/TO rate over that same span. And yes, Winston is shooting more but not insanely more (132 total shots compared to 89). And Simpson has more steals and rebounds. But Winston has shot an astounding 66 free throws, and while some of those are end-of-game ones it's still pretty crazy that about a third of his points the past 10 games came from the charity stripe.
This isn't to discredit him, only that it's very on-brand for MSU to play really well against UM and be decidedly meh against everyone else.
Do you watch the games? I can't imagine coming to the conclusion of "decidedly meh" after watching what he's done for msu. He's been everything to them.

Rhode Island just beat VCU which means the A10 champion will steal a bid. A bid that otherwise might have gone to OSU. Good chance they're out of it now depending on how the committee treats their stretch without Wesson (i.e. if they discount it at all).
