A few observations:
- With a win on Saturday, Michigan will have beaten the top 4 teams in the conference (not including Michigan who would be #1 obviously)
- Michigan has beaten teams ranked #3, #4, #5, #8, #11, & #12 (7.17 avg)
- MSU has beaten teams ranked #4, #7, #8, #9(x2), #10, #12 (8.43 avg)
- MSU's toughest road wins: #9 IU, #10 Illinois
- Michigan's toughest road wins: #4 Minnesota, #5 Wisconsin
Basically, the "easy schedule" we started off with may not have been so easy, and MSU's may have been easier.
If we can get a win in Lansing, we set ourselves up nicely in terms of home/road games against quality teams. MSU has @Iowa, @OSU, @Wisc, @Mich ... Michigan has @Iowa & @OSU
