He can't explain because he's wrong. Football is a team game. Darnold couldn't do everything. He played a fine game while under heavy pressure. Should have had a couple of touchdown passes. One was pass interference that didn't get call.

The all-time Big Ten leader in total offense, 38-6 as a starter, and three time best QB in the Big Ten.  We should have such a comical QB.

Barrett's gone now, but that offense won't change.  The new kid they have, the guy that hit one lucky throw to keep them in the game, will be the same QB that Barrett was.  He'll be dangerous escaping the pocket and will throw for decent yardage.  But he won't beat you with his arm.  Keep him in the pocket while forcing him to win with his arm - that will continue to be the defensive game plan for beating OSU.

The defense will handle that assignment.  As always, the question will be whether the offense can score more points.  My money says it will...

Haskins is waaay more of a passer than JT. And if you look at their recruiting profiles, back in 2016 Haskins is considered "Pro" style, and if you go back to, I kid you not, 2013(!), JT is considered "Dual."

Personally, I would actually prefer we face a true passer and trust the Dline and CBs to contain the threat. Running QBs are a bitch.

What in the world happened to the Pac 12? Not that long ago, you could make an argument it was among the top conferences. Going into today's PSU/Washington game, the Pac 12 is 1-7 in bowls and Ohio State's 24 points is the second-lowest point total against them.

Over under was 64.5!  And the tipsters were all taking the over.  I think this shows how deceivingly bad the Pac-12 is this year.

And Darnold is NOT ready for the NFL.  That dude needs another year in college.  The Browns will sign up for more years of misery if they take him number 1.  I thought the Wake Forest QB John Wolford looked better.  That guy has a strong, accurate arm and runs well.  Seems like an NFL sleeper pick.
