is he is cooling on us after going against Shane in the Columbus Elite 11 competition.  If that is the truth I would be really disappointed in his competitive nature.

With Shane on board for '13 our QB position looks solid for years to come barring anything unforseen happening.  He's to Denard or Devin picking up the new O and thriving this fall.

The timing for OSU couldn't be much worse recruiting wise.  USC got by by saying we'll challenge it and they'll cut back on the punishment and that back fired in the end.  OSU won't be making a final decision on Tressel for about another 6 months probably at least, the way it looks right now anyway.  Things can change very quickly over the next few weeks, but the longer it takes for OSU to deal with everything, the harder it will be to come back.

he never visits Michigan, but it'd be a lot cooler if he did. It pleases me to no end to see so many of the top prospects in America continue to rank us with the best programs after hearing sports pundits crow about their home schools and hate on the B1G. I don't expect a visit, but I'd love it if we made yet another top 5.

I was semi-involved in his brother's announcement last year and know a few people in the Arizona recruiting world, and most of what I've heard is that Nebraska is probably the favorite after his brother committed there last year, but it's not a lock.

People keep saying things like "he's definitely open, but Nebraska didn't hurt themselves by getting his brother." FWIW.

USC is supposed to be heavily in the mix, and there was some thought that Arizona State would be too, at least depending on their success this season -- apparently that's not the case. That's a bit of a downer for the Devils, for sure.
