In fact, yesterday, Michigan,

devastated by injury,

experimented with their towel boy

at wide receiver......

- But the towel boy ran into

a laundry list of problems.

Not what i expected to see when i first got on. Hopefully approved for a medical redshirt. As far as true freshmen playing I put my money on Da'mario Jones as the early contributor. Hopefully Dukes is ready but he might nees time to improve speed and quickness. FARTS!

While I am sad panda because of Darboh's upside and positive reviews, I am very upbeat about Jehu and his big play ability. Snagging a ball over top of countess in the scrimmage is enough for me to believe he is capable of filling the role. Hopefully a true freshman steps up and gets some early PT as well.

Tony Springmann’s injury status is still unclear but Kelly said that he will more information on the injury by his next scheduled media session on Thursday. He is definitely out for Temple though.

Doug Randolph will have corrective surgery on his shoulder and will not play this year. Another tough loss for Notre Dame.

Danny Spond, as noted yesterday, told the team that he will no longer be playing football due to medical reasons. Sad news for a great young kid and for the team. Spond is going to stay with the team and help coach the drop backers. Notre Dame will also cross train Romeo Okwara at the position with Spond no longer an active member of the team.

FYI, this is one of the least injured off seasons I can recall. 2011 was really luck as well, IIRC.

we just lost a true SO WR who didn't really do much last year. we were all hopefull he could be that next great deep threat and there was some practice buzz around him. we're light on experience at WR, and we still are.

in sum, we lost some practice buzz and are still basically in the same position @ WR. not a huge loss. a huge loss would be:

Gardner, Either OT, Either Gordon, Gallon, and Brunette Girls
