over the last few weeks, all I can think about is the South Park parody of the Game of Thrones theme song, but with the word "Harbaugh" being used a lot

If I was a player...I think I would naturally be somewhat unsure of what the change in staffs and head coach meant for me and my team, and possibly sad to lose coaches I had formed relationships with.  I would also be excited about the proven track record of the new staff and coach, and hopeful/confident that if my teammates and I worked hard, there would be a lot more winning in our future.

Any insight into the general mood of the players and their predominant feelings would be appreciated.

Almost forgot...HARBAUGH!!!!!!

I am rather impressed with the refusal by many to see the board littered with Ohio State threads even in the shadow of the outcome of the first CFB Championship Game. The solidarity and resolve shown by some is very refreshing indeed.

Also, Harbaugh, therefore Harbaugh. Additionally, Harbaugh but sometimes Harbaugh.

OSU won.  That was yesterday. 2014 season is officially over.  I think most people here are in the "onward and upward" mode.  We're all tired of hearing about it.

To me, the coming season smells like 1969 all over again.  Michigan will probably suffer one or two losses and an undefeated, "unbeatable" OSU will strut into Michigan Stadium expecting to add to their "legendary" status by beating the Wolverines.

2015 will be Jim Harbaugh's 1969.

1.  Drevno gets the OL into a big, mean run blocking machine.  We have the talented RB's to get a lot of yards.  Assuming Wheatley is able to get them to another level, we have the potential to have a very good running game.

2.  Durkin and Mattison can build a dominating defense around the guys coming back, using the strengths of what we have.  With so many starters and guys on the two-deep returning, there is definitely some good potential.

3.  Coach Harbaugh finds the best QB on the team and builds an offense he can be successful running.

4.  Our special teams coach raises the level of play by quite a bit.  That shouldn't be too hard.  Part of that will be getting Peppers involved returning either punts or KO's.  The other will be replacing both Wile and Hagerup.

5.  Any maybe most important of all, the coaches can change the mindset of the team to one of total toughness, determination, and will-win thinking.

If Michigan can achieve this, 2015 could be a very good year.

So my hubby was an equipment manager in 1992.  Harbaugh came to town to shoot a QB video with Cam Cameron.  He stopped and chatted with the equipment guys.  They were standing by some guys' desk who had a "Hooters" calendar.

Well, as he's chatting with the equipment guys, Harbaugh just stops, stares at the calendar for a minute, points at it and goes "I dated her" and then just goes on talking, like it was nothing.
