First ever TD pass by a JoePa team in Columbus? That is seriously nuts (although understandable since a vast portion of his coaching career occurred before the forward pass was invented).

I don't think DROB runs the zone read as it should be run. It appears he gives entirely way too much just because someone has walked down to contain.

Pryor just kept and beat two people to the keep side. DROB could beat most guys playing contain and I cannot figure out why he doesn't keep more.

Denard seems to be more hesitant as of late.  Not sure if it is the injuries or something else.  But he does not seem to be hitting the line as quickly as he was early on.

I don't know about other games, but in today's game I had no problem with running a lot in the 2nd half.  It was bad weather, we had a lead on a team who hadn't scored an offensive touchdown.  Chew up the clock and get out of the rain quicker.

Not to get too far ahead, but if PSU knocks off OSU, can I retract my bitter thoughts and words when Michigan lost to PSU? "3rd string QB, Royster blah, blech, blech, unacceptable, RR needs to go" rant is now looking rather childish.

PSU looks like a well oiled machine. I know in one hour it could all be over, but for now, maybe Michigan hanging with them wasn't so terrible and the loss is now more palatable, EVEN THOUGH we should have beat them.

They still have not beaten a decent team all year.  Miami (YTM) is their "marquee" win, and that was with the help of Jacory Harris not caring which jersey he threw to.  With all the injuries in their secondary (almost as many as ours), McGloin could throw all over them today.

Did they even mention CFB during the halftime show?  I flipped back 3 separate times and every time they were talking about the NFL.

Verne Lundquist and Danielson are insufferable. They're clearly rooting for Auburn to win this game so the SEC will have a National Championship representative. Georgia gets an interception and Lundquist just says "intercepted" like he's disappointed with absolutely no inflection. That's just awful. Have some journalistic integrity.

UPSET ALERT:

San Deigo State forces a 3-and-out for TCU to open, then drives the field for a score. TCU's ensuing possession, defensive end of the Aztecs gets around, forces a fumble in the end zone, TOUCHDOWN AZTECS.

14-0 SDSU over TCU, 9:16 left in 1st Q.

Minnesota, of all teams, has held McGloin, Cousins and Scheelhaase under 50% completions the last three weeks.   Weird year in CFB.

You have not watched enough of those three teams' games this season if you're saying that with surprise. Army has been unusuall solid this year. They have this linebacker that must be the Waterboy. The guy jumps snaps with precision. Leaps over the center and can tackle a quarterback before he can even hand the ball off.

USC is obviously nothing to brush off.

Utah, as I've been saying, hasn't been that good this year. USC >> Utah, even with their porous secondary.

Has JoePa even brought a team to Columbus since he's been coaching? Records are falling and they aren't even good records.

First TD in Columbus

Highest point total in Cbus - 13 (??????)

First forward pass in Cbus (I may have made that one up)

All hell is breaking loose in college football today thus far. Minnesota won, Wisconsin put up 83, Iowa lost, Auburn, Ohio State, and TCU are all losing. If I was Oregon I would be afraid to take the field today.
