I'm a little curious about the down-voters. Was it people who couldn't stomach another post about apparel? Or is it the people who enjoy the conversation about the apparel contract and didn't appreciate the mocking tone? Maybe a combination of both. I think the fact that this is such a long-term deal indicates that the financial terms are very favorable to UM. If not, then why lock yourself in at the current price for so long.

Ah nice. I was worried people wouldn't have another opportunity to list off non-athletic and second-tier clothing and shoe manufacturers. These jokes are definitely still very original.
one or two more fucks left to give about anything and everything involving apparel, and I'm saving those for an announcement by the mods that starting an apparel thread means an instant one-way ticket to Bolivia.
For now, I think mine (and the other mods') hope is that - the future now assured - they will either slow down and become more selective or thoughtful beyond "Discuss", if not stop entirely. I guess that like everything else, it will depend on what it is, but I totally hear you on this one. For a while, the need to discuss apparel and the merits of brands was getting a little repetitive, to say the least.
