Adalius Thomas gone for season

Submitted by Magnus on
Patriots outside linebacker Adalius Thomas broke his forearm in yesterday's game against Buffalo. Perhaps this will open up some playing time for Pierre Woods and/or Shawn Crable. Crable hasn't dressed for a game yet this year, so I doubt he'll start in Thomas's place. But he could get some time on special teams or something.

...but Crable is on IR with a shin problem (placed last week) so he won't benefit. But yeah, Pierre Woods will see a lot of time. Hopefully he can come close to Thomas, who has been pretty damn good this year.

for AD in the base package but probably not so much in sub packages. Crable is on IR as the previous poster stated, but from what I had gathered his special teams performance was lacking and one reason he hadn't seen any playig time even prior to his shin injury. Also, AD is not out for the season at this point but it's still early.
