Acceptable or Unacceptable

Submitted by HelloHeisman91 on

So I was recenetly in Vegas with a few buddies disuccusing M's chances of winning the National Championship next yr,  The conversation consisted of the various prop bets that were available, the scheldule, home games vs away games, the secondary, Speight as a second started and of course having to beat PSU, MSU and OSU when a Penn St fan butts into our conversation and tells us we're nuts for thinking that M can win a nightgame in HV.  Normally a friendly exchange with a fan from a different base is something that myself and friends would encourage but this guy was something special.  Rememeber we're not the crazy annoying drunk homers, that's always the other guys.  Anyway, this guy just keeps going on and on about the PSU backs, the PSU QB, how all the experts have it wrong etc. and that PSU isgoing to be the lands best team next yr.  Completley obnoxius.  After what seems like hours of this asshole running his mouth about PSU he unglugs his phone and says, "Gents, I have to go change my eyewear."  What??????  Who has to return to his room to change his eyewear?  Anyway, I have no idea why this guy has his charger in the casino or why he thinks we'll babyshit it but we grabbed his phone charger and threw it away, placed our bets and took off and thankfully we didn't cross paths with the guy again.

So, throwing his charger in the trash, acceptable or unacceptable?  And don't forget I'm sure if we try we can do some mental gymnastics and blame this on JoePa culture.

He seems to understand why he's taking a beating.  Oh wait, no he doesn't.

He posted this in the thread.

"I agree with this football analysis, which others responding to the post failed to explore. The inevitable fun of "attacking the poster" overrides most things on this site."

It is so much more than an apparent need; it's an actual need IMO.

Rather than discussion about Michigan-related sports and the like, it has become a predictable collection of commentors whose major contribution is that that do not like the post, or "this has already been posted".  It's sad really, and not in a good way.

So once again, it's the board fault and this place sucks for pointing out that' your thread sucked and that it was largely because you were an ass in your own story. Maybe look in the mirror and ask yourself why a story that you tell that you think makes you look a thoughtful, intelligent and educated fan was universally panned and may go down in board history as one of the worst ever posted. When you have a problem with everybody you're the problem.
