This is not confirmation that they are ineligible. The article states that they are not yet eligible and not yet with the team. I took it as very open-ended.

That is not confirmation. All that says is that they haven't been ruled eligible yet. This is much different than being deemed ineligible. This just means, they haven't gotten word yet.

RichRod said last week they were waiting on some paperwork for Turner and hoped it would be in over the weekend so he could be there Monday. Perhaps it just hasn't gotten in yet?

Well, in the strictest sense of the word, they ARE ineligible - the Clearinghouse has not pronounced them eligible. So, if they aren't eligible, they are....wait for it...INELIGIBLE.
This does not, however, mean this can't change.

there is no deadline for finding out. They are dealing with the NCAA clearinghouse which is a large bureaucratic body. They move at their won pace and have pulled this late notice crap before.

Valenti was discussing the Feagin situation and a caller brought up MSU running back Glen Winston. Valenti immediately said that he was gone and would not play football this year. Not an hour later a press release states that Winston has rejoined the Spartan team at practice. Douchetonio said he has paid his due to the system and the team. HA!

Valenti isnt saying they are ineligable, he's saying that they havent been cleared by the clearinghouse and how the clearinghouse is stupid. He said that JT should be allowed to play because he has good SAT/ACT scores but a stupid Ohio state test is the reason for the holdup. he also said to wait till 6 because thats whe nwe find out.

Valenti just stated kinda what we've all been saying. He went on to rip the clearinghouse, saying there is no reason a that Turner, a supposedly good student, should have to wait this long to find out if they're eligible. Went on to say its not fair to him or Michigan or anyone else.
