Love that Michigan is at a point in which anytime a big time recruit de-commits from somewhere people actually ponder whether Michigan is in it without it being too far fetched.

Yes. He showed interest in us early, and Michigan was in his top group, even when he had a lot of good offers. However, he never visited (AFAIK). When he committed to Alabama, it was a bit out of the blue because he was making noise about wanting to visit Michigan (and other schools).

Normally I would agree, but in this case, I don't. If he goes blue, he will see the field early and often. All 3 starters are gone (and weren't good to begin with) all we have left is Gedeon, Gant, and a bunch of no names. Our LB core for 2016 is hot garbage. Devin Bush Jr. will be a guaranteed starter by the end of spring ball.

That's the thing right there.  It baffles me that the "come to Michigan and see the field very early" isn't a compelling argument to make for some of these 4* and 5* linebacker recruits.  If I'm Harbaugh & Company, that's the #1 recruiting argument I make to LBs.
