Michigan.
God-willing no one gets injured, of course.
Start Mo Wagner and this is gonna be a fun season.

If I could trade Iowa and PSU, the home-only and road-only would be perfect.
Rutgers will be pretty butt-hurt by not having their huge rival on the schedule twice.
they will get to "Stripe the Birthplace" or some basketball equivalent for their storied basketball program.

every UM coach has struggled at IU. 12-60 all time at IU.
Get ready for them to be cursed until they get rid of that name.

I'll believe it when I see it. I've grown pretty accustomed to watching us lose at Assembly Hall.
Please show me a Big Ten coach whose team has not struggled at the Kohl Center, Assembly Hall, and the Breslin Center.
I'll hang up and listen.
34-39 all time at Wisconsin.
35-45 at MSU.
Not too shabby.
We really suck in the state of Indiana. 21-51 all-time at Purdue. So we're a combinded 32-111 at IU and PU. Yuck.

Has their school been involved in some sort of horrendous scandal recently?
But seriously, I think the surprise here is that a program that has had a long run of mediocrity (to put it mildly) should suddenly land a class like they're about to get.
True, we're going to miss out on some gimmees at home. But, if the goal is to win the B10, as opposed to say just making the tourney and going 10-8 in conference, I think your road schedule is crucial. If you're competing for a title, you should be winning at home whether it's NW or it's IU.

I am glad we got a one off home game against Ohio State. The two single game road games in 3 years against them was ridiculous.

only three, one being Rutgers, Big Ten teams are within a 6.5 hour drive. Awesome.
But it's within a 3 hour train ride of NY, Philly, and DC, where a ton of loyal Big Ten alums live. It's going to be at Madison Square Garden in 2018, which will be awesome. It's a great move for the conference.
Fuck the students.
I don't know any students who were flocking to indy... it's definitely an adult thing, especially considering ticket prices.
It's not a student event in the first place. The tournament is usually on St. Patrick's Day weekend. You're not going to find a ton of college kids eager to give up that weekend on campus for a six hour stretch sitting inside a half empty United Center or Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
I was afaird of what this might look like, but not now - I like how this run through the conference sets up, and I particularly like the road-only draws here. I would agree that this might be the best schedule we've been able to get for some time.
The revealing of this good news means, of course, that the next thread about hoops will be a recruiting thread and those always proceed smoothly.
and mess up Richard Pitino's coif
I like it!
I'd like to see UW-Milwaukee on the non conference schedule, should not be to hard to set up. That should be a win this year too with them a bit down.
seems like we are usually on the short end of the scheduling stick but not this time...I LIKE it
Wow, that's a pretty favorable schedule compared to where it's been recently.
Playing @ Iowa is tough, but Minnesota, Northwestern and Rutgers are not overly daunting tasks. Getting Maryland, OSU, and Purdue as home only's is fantastic, especially considering I think we've had road-only games vs. OSU several times in the last few years.
