2014 Football Season Tee "Sneak Peek"

Didn't see this posted anywhere, but if I missed it I apologize.

Michigan yesterday released a "sneak peek" of the 2014 Football Season Tee via their twitter. IMO, not a terrible design, but the "player" in the middle looks a little lost.

But, something makes me wish they'd do blue shirts for football season. A stadium full of blue is more intimidating than a big house full of maize. When you go and watch some of the older videos (like Woodson, Brady ect. ect.) everyone is in blue.

Can't disagree more. We did blue shirts in 2005 and it looked awful. Maize really sticks out. You can always see the student section in pictures of the stadium. Navy is probably the worst color to do it with IMO. Lighter blue actually sticks out and black can work if everyone does it. I've always liked lighter colors. Remember the Winnipeg Jets old white outs?

Not at all. Go rewatch an older game in September and everyone is wearing white. It almost looks like a whiteout!

The only way blue would be good is if we did one of those jobs where one section wears blue and the next one wears maize and repeat. I just wish we could get an all stadium maize out to work for once.

That shirt looks remarkably close to ... maize.

On that basis alone, I approve.  If the color is portrayed correctly this is actually approximates both of the school colors.  No highlighter yellow?  Good by me.

Pretty good. Would have been nice to have another one or two of the short guy to either side of him to balance that out a bit. But yeah, pretty good.

Can't wait to be wearing this shirt at the Big House next year as a freshman at UM (even though the home schedule sucks, I'm still so pumped for all the games). Love the shirt! Go Blue!
