2010 Diehard recruits
Just read an interesting article on Rivals. 2 of UM 2010 recruits, Jeremy Jackson of AA and Ricardo Miller of Orlando FL are at the Army Combine to test their skills and promote UM to the players there. They said they have a list of people they want to talk to- including the otter (This was reported by Tom yesterday). What was interesting was that Miller said that he hears from Florida regularly trying to sway him. Urban Meyer has contacted him personally a number of times but Miller is staying Blue. These guys are trying to graduate in Jan of next yr to enroll early. Both are WR. Jackson also has an offer from LSU but he is committed to UM.

I was concerned too but it turns out that Jackson is the son of the running back coach at UM and Miller's mom grad from UM and he says he thinks of UM 24/7. Miller has been in touch with coach Rod Miller and preparing to visit UM for spring ball. These guys seem very solid

although these 2 are 2010 recruits i feel very confident that both will remain on board.

Only thing that one can hope is that RR and his staff keep on these kids and make them continue to want to play for them. Also will help if UM football comes out strong and hard next season.

Ricardo is enrolling early, Jeremy isn't. It doesn't really make sense for him to enroll early, since ya know....his dad is a coach.

It would still benefit Jackson to get the reps and start the workouts. He might have access to the playbook and such, but you could hand me the playbook right now and I wouldn't be ready to contribute to a major college football program.

He already does that.....

He works out with Barwis and runs routes with Steve Threet?

Yea, that's why he said there's no need for him to enroll early. He obviously doesn't do it during the season, but in the offseason, he's right there with everybody else, doing most of the drills they do.

Thats pretty cool. Has there ben any feedback from anyone as to how he's doing as far as the drills with the college players?

hmm. i mean, i guess it's unofficial practice but is that technically allowed by the NCAA to have a recruit practicing? if he keeps it up though he'll already have a whole bunch of experience running the offense before ever playing at the big house

Honestly I have no clue, but it is with his father so I don't think that counts. And if it does that is B/S. If my dad worked for a university sports team I would have went to work with him as much as I could.
