I miss Minor :(

So did the football team for most of his career

I haven't been to a lot of games, but this one and last year's ND games were my favorites that I've been to. Watching live as the ND fans went silent after last year's last TD was priceless.

The kids are in bed (thank god school is back in session), and I can watch football for an extended period, even if this game was played two years ago now.....

I watched a bit of ND-Utah 2010 that they were showing on NBC when I was waiting for the weather delay to end. Yes, I needed my football urgently last Saturday night before 8 PM. Don't judge me.

I forced an entire group of people to watch Minnesota-USC in the tunnel because that's what I pulled up on the iPad, damnit.
September 7th, 2011 at 9:03 PM ^
I watched that. Shame Minnesota couldn't end up winning it. That would have been pretty awesome.

Since we saw quite a bit of the game waiting for the rain to diminish to tropical storm strength, I will admit, I was pulling for Minnesota. My cousins out in Los Angeles (all USC alums) may gloat, but they looked vulnerable against a team that many people had fogotten.

The Gophers were fighting for it. We must be cautious at the Big Ten opener. I've grown accustomed to seeing that little brown jug around town and I'd rather not give it up to Wisconsin's little brother.

I was pulling hard for Northwestern and Minnesota last weekend, and I'll be pulling hard for Penn State this weekend too. I'd much rather have the conference gain some respect against the Pac, ACC and SEC than have B1G teams losing.

just stepped out of bounds. OR DID HE?!?!?
(hint: yes. yes he did.)

Really hoping this years game doesn't come down to our last drive again like the last two years even though the result was great. Don't think my heart can take it. It was so stressful being at the game last year but sure was fun after. Hopefully we can have a game more like 2003, 2006 or 2007.

I will not be too concerned as to how we get the W.

I got sideline passes from an associate when the game was at ND (unfortunately I had be on ND's side of the field). Let me tell you, the feeling was absolutely electric at the game that day, I wish everyone has the opportunity to be that close to the game sometime, everytime I'm on the sideline for games it just makes the experience 10X better!

I had sidelines passes for that game (unfortunately it was on ND's side because my associate was an ND alum). The game was electric that day, I hope everyone has the chance to experience it just once in their lives, being that close to the game. Everytime I'm on the sidelines the game is just 100X better.

Herschel Walker story. Quite an amazing story. From his early years of being bullied in grade school to wanting to enter the Marines to "kill people". Not sure when it will air again, but you should without a doubt watch it from the start.

Still hate Charlie Weiss.
September 7th, 2011 at 9:04 PM ^
Doesn't Charlie Weiss break his fupa in this game?
September 7th, 2011 at 9:11 PM ^
That was the '08 game.
September 7th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
Damn BooBoo. Where'd it go wrong?
September 7th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
Even now, I still find myself smiling after I hear "Great move by Forcier!" Man, that was an incredible game.

Was that the same blonde who cried last year?
Also, does anyone have that .gif?

2010 Michigan-ND Game > 2009 Michigan-ND Game.
Two awesome games but I love me some Dilithium.

He put the stanky leg on Fleming. Despite all that kids shortcomings, he wasn't afraid of anything.
September 7th, 2011 at 9:56 PM ^
Forgot about him as a 5th year senior making big catches late in the ND game here....

sad depressed nd fans always brightens my day.

I had such high hopes for Tate, the kid had so much potential to do great things! Unfortunately, he had next to ZERO work ethic and had a bad attitude. He could have been good! Shame. *smh*

Love the Tate love affair from the commentators. How times change.
And nothing brightens my day more than seeing the ND fans devastated. Love it. Only the pics of OSU fans after the NC game losses brightens my day more.
