Ah, ballz never sleep. This is good news though. Would be nice to get him in the fold fairly soon. Not sure why he would choose UCLA with Mora on a scorching hot seat over Michigan and Jim Harbaugh, but high schoolers and all that.

I'm intrigued by the idea of JH having a true dual threat QB to utilize - but I'm honestly even more excited by the idea of making inroads at Bishop Gorman.
DTR & a very highly rated TE in this class alone, some starz in every class seems like. Come on down!

Maybe there's a thought that Mora could get fired and Fisch take over if the offense is really good. But LA is only a five hour drive, so being close to home may also factor in.

Not really. He's said he will be committing in the summer, and he's also the highest rated quarterback that is still uncommitted in his class. Quarterbacks generally commit early in their cycle and stick to their school, some would say DTR is late.
These are ballz for a commit that will probably happen in May or June.

Yessir. I think Pep's hire will be enough to counter UCLA getting Jedd, and then some. I think Harbaugh wins this one. I'd be really excited to see our offense with this young man after some coaching from Jim.

Except Najee's mom wasn't a Michigan alum and Najee's other suitor was playing in the national championship game instead of coming off a 4-8 year with their coach on the hot seat and our coach is not known for his elite Running Back coaching acumen.

"Led" is dubious, UCLA is legit in this, but certainly in the top 2 from the jump and competing with a program that is much worse off right now - a program that he has never been committed to.

Yep - I remember Michigan people talking about Najee in the aftermath of Jim's hire. We may be better positioned with DTR at the same stage, but it's not like we just contacted Najee for the first time this past summer.
