1-6-12 Pistons: Daye and Knight difference with Pistons vs Sixers tonight

Submitted by Blue boy johnson on

The Pistons broke out their Day/Knight starting backcourt tonight with Stuckey and Ben Gordon unavailable. Piston's need Knight to become a very good point guard if the future of the franchise is going to improve.

I know there are alot of NBA junkies on this blog and its' time for Friday night hoops.

I just see no viable reason for 95% of the roster moves Dumars has made, We need to tank, without a question, we need ot tank. This team is in desperate need of a a Franchise type talent, and it would help if he were 6'10 and named Andre Drummond or Anthony Davis.

I know when I buy an NBA team, I'll be really happy for them to tank it and drive away all revenue in the first year so I could buy a really expensive new player in the draft.

I agree that it would be wonderful, but is it really so hard to see why they might want to avoid that avenue?

Knight is 20 and Monroe is 21, they both have promising futures. We will see what Dumars can do to help them out in the next few years. I don't think the Pistons need to tank anything they will get a nice pick giving full effort.

All the Pistons need to do to contend is sign Dwight Howard in the off season.
