"Jeremiah was nothing more than a bit player who suffered a knee injury going into his final season. A fitting end to a failed tenure."

Seems a little mean-spirited, no?

Surprised that Lawrence Thomas wasn't the biggest bust for MSU. I thought he was a 5* to some sites and 4* to everyone else but he's yet to make an impact there other than at FB I believe

Maybe not as hyped as Kevin Grady, but I've always thought Justin Turner was a bigger bust. People thought he had a shot at being the next great michigan corner. I wish he had lived up to the hype.

Kevin in terms of being a "bust."  RBs, as we have all grown to learn, i.e., Fargas and the above-named all all too often disappointments. I do, however, think Fargas played at the level of a high 3* while at USC, probbly due to determination and the year he was being catapulted into "Olympic like moves" while running in the BIG prior to being ready.  I think Will, in our case, was a bigger disappointment, a fact I did not hesitate to mention on the wolverine when I was still welcomed there. All I saw from his h.s. clips was a man, withut failure, who went from a 3 pt to a full "stand up" mode and got by on size and srength alone. This scared the hell out of me becaue I thought,, like many others, a 5th star should be given those who demonstrated soething other than strength and size.  I truly believe Rivals and all the other sites had him greaty overrated due to the tangibes, but gave little thought as to whether or not he'd break those terrible habits alowed him at the lower level. Inasmuch as both were thought to be ready for the BIG after their senior years, yes, they were bth disappointments. However, I strongly believe if one had gone to WI or even MSU he may have became a great college player. I think,in regard to the second it was simply  a matter of over-hype and no matter what gifts he possessed was simply incapable of accepting the fact he'd have to learn the game to be what many-not me so much-expected.
