Michigan second graders send get well cards to the Toomer’s oaks, monitor trees via webcam
“One of the girls asked to write a letter about how upset she was about the trees and then all of them decided to write letters,” Miller says. “It was the kids’ idea. They took it and ran with it.”
Having been to Toomer's after a big win, I can attest to how great of a college football tradition it is. Good for those kids. Hopefully the folks on the Plains can save those trees if they haven't been damaged too much already.
Good for those kids, Toomer's oaks needs as many Loraxes as possible.
