I don't think the Heisman trust really wants to give the trophy to a guy who is going to break it into pieces in order to give one to each of his teammates.  But if Denard starts rolling again, its going to be hard to deny him.

But that doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if anyone else chooses to recognize his immense football talent or not.

I'm going to savor and enjoy every moment of his Michigan playing career.  And the joy I feel watching Dilithium turn on the afterburners and torch opposing defenses for 1st downs, 20+ yard gains and touchdowns (both on the ground and in the air) is only multiplied because of his great personality and character.  His humility is refreshing and his joyful approach to the game and even life itself is contagious.  Watching him smile at this week's news conference reminded me of another poster's attempt to characterize his charm, (paraphrasing) "his smile is like deep fried kittens and warm marshmellow sunbursts of sunshine."

His father and mother did a great job raising him.

When Barry Sanders was drafted by the Lions, I resolved not to be frustrated by the team's lack of success but to enjoy the highlight quality runs by the best Pro running back to have ever played the game.

Similarly, I will be able to endure the growing pains inflicted by our defense over the next year or two because of quality Michigan Men like Denard, Mike Martin, Roh and others.
