MGoShoe, do you know if the commemorative program will be the one the ROTC will be selling?
September 2nd, 2010 at 1:53 PM ^
...I don't know the answer to that. Hopefully someone who's a current unit member does, though.

And remember to stop by Revilli Hall on your way in and watch the drumline's Step Show. Should be around 2:00 pm. Go Blue!

Shoe
Go Blue
(I'm going to go ahead and acronym that to BYSGB in honor of your military background)

There is a lot of it, all over town, including the Stadium Bridge being down to one lane, and resurfacing still going on on Stadium near Seventh. Be prepared so you make it to all your gameday events in a timely fashion!

(Scroll past the short-term ones that won't effect you for the real issues.)

That link doesn't seem to be working (at least for me).
Info on road construction and closures can also be found on this thread I started earlier today: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/game-day-road-constructionclosures

How peculiar that is a problem.

I like the fact that the water bottles are both commemorative and recyclable.

September 2nd, 2010 at 5:49 PM ^
I believe there is one called "Rockit". Not exactly sure where in Chicago but I believe I read on here that it is a Wolverine affiliated bar.

Duffy's is one and there are other ones who's names escape me at the moment. Duffy's is a good time though. Get there early.

A great day to be a Wolverine!! I might need a box of tickets when Brock take the field. The Mealer family really puts life in perspective. He is the true definition of a warrior!
September 2nd, 2010 at 6:25 PM ^
Does anyone know if it's Brock's goal to walk the tunnel on Saturday without canes or will he be doing it with canes? It's going to be amazing either way but I would be delightfully surprised if he loses the canes for his big moment.
September 2nd, 2010 at 10:05 PM ^
Probably will use the canes but we'll see.
September 2nd, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
...that canes are a certainty. Check out the photo of Brock, Elliott and their mom practicing the entrance here: Brock Mealer's "Impossible is Nothing".

Lets follow all that up with a win!

This is gonna be awesome.

While I am not a huge fan of CBS's "One Shining Moment" ending to the NCAA basketball tournament -- it has one serving of "cheese" too many and lands just the other side of totally hip -- I will still borrow the tune regarding tomorrow's events at Michigan Stadium. One shining moment won't be enough to describe the scene. It will be Three Shining Moments: Brock, the NEW Big House, and a great big Meeeeechigan victory!
Go Blue!
