Recruiting - what people don't know

.
On the recent commitment of Kyle Kalis, many Michigan fans became excited at landing such a highly rated prospect
.
And they have reason to, because Kalis will develop into a great contributor on the football field
.
yes
.
But, THE KNOWLEDGE laughs at many folks on this website and other places that think they know which prospects to get excited about
.
Many indeed was the  number of folks that were considerably less excited about the commitment of a less heralded, and mostly unknown, prospect to the 2012 Michigan class
.
these people are idiots
.
and the name of that prospect is Sione Houma
.
yes
.
The proprietor and #2 writer on this blog, B. Cook himself seemed less than thrilled about the commitment of Houma; naturally less knowledgeable ordinary fans followed suit
.
but THE KNOWLEDGE is not ordinary as everyone knows
.
THE KNOWLEDGE soars and basks in glory due to his great abiltities, more than anyone can ever dream of
.
yes
.
with the future in hindsight, THE KNOWLEDGE reveals that Houma is the most important commitment of the class
.
He will be the best player on the field, and will earn muti-year All-American honors
.
yes
.
On to other matters
.
The event most people are awaiting in the next few days is the decision of the NCAA on the heinous violations committed at OSU
.
so they can know if the answered THE QUESTION correctly
.
yes
.
THE KNOWLEDGE, of course, already knows the result, but will not reveal it in order to keep the excitement growing until it reaches a crescendo

.
THE KNOWLEDGE will return in the future to congratule the winners of THE QUESTION and also to reveal the season review for Michigan
.
yes

...Sione Houma at thewolverine.com

Our anonymous film evaluator is a former two-year starter along the offensive line that garnered All-Big Ten first-team honors for the Maize and Blue.

Bottom Line - Brady Hoke is looking for players that are big, strong, fast, and play a tough brand of football. Houma fits all of these categories. I love the way he falls forward on each carry. He fights for extra footage through the tackles. He hits the line with his shoulders down and eyes up looking for the opening. When Houma learns how to crumble Big Ten linebackers he'll be fun to watch. This is the type of back that Michigan fans will love to see bruise opponents down the field.

... Is like a train wreck: a bloody mess that you want to pass by without looking, but that you end up gawking at just to see how bad it really is.

Love 'em or hate 'em, its always entertaining when THE_KNOWLEDGE appears and drops some "knowledge" on us.

As an aside, has anyone taken the time to evaluate the accuracy of THE_KNOWLEDGE's predictions?  If not, someone simply must do it.  Someone other than me, of course.  Any takers??

THE_KNOWLEDGE makes no predictions; THE_KNOWLEDGE reports the future. While it'd be more ideal for THE_KNOWLEDGE to report our future, it is possible that, when THE_KNOWLEDGE comes back in time to report his findings, THE_KNOWLEDGE creates an alternate universe where his findings do not come into fruition. I do wish I could celebrate Michigan's NC victory over Boise State though...

October 2010

THE KNOWLEDGE  shall provide the following pointers to aid in your prediction:

  • Michigan will win
  • Robinson will throw for multiple touchdowns
  • Michigan’s running game will not be throttled
  • Iowa’s passing game will gain many yards
  •  The game will not be very close

will THE_KNOWLEDGE make a BOLD prediction and tell what position Sione Houma will be playing?

Because he looks a little light to be a FB.

There's nothing better than laughing out loud about something funny on the Board and then having to try and explain it to observers.  That's happened to me several times here at work.  No one ever seems to get it, but I just tell them that they're not smart enough to understand advanced humor.  (Probably shouldn't say that to your 15-year-old though - that would be mean.)

Except he is a fullback/blockingback.  Houma was under the radar because ESPN, Scout, and Rivals rated him as a runningback, thus the "meh" rating.  Once he committed to Michigan, he was re-rated as a fullback, I believe the #3 FB in the country.

Whether he is blocking for Denard or someone else at QB, a good FB is necessary.  Just ask any Florida QB under Spurrier who had to run for his life (especially against FSU).

Response:   Knowledg, a new college FB season is upon us.  Last year you predicted UM would play for a NC & go undefeated. Knowledge, in 2011 you are still a imbecil.  Yes I know the answer to that,

Congrats.

So modest, so unassuming.

This post at least has some teeth, my friend... I'll give you that.  I'm all about Houma blowing up in the next few years.

You are original, I will give you that.

But you don't know shit.  You're not a scout, you're not an insider, and you're most assuredly not part of the NCAA.  So, in that regard, you are a total clown to me.

By your standards, almost everybody who participates here, including you, "don't know shit."  Are you sure your best friend isn't posting for you on this thread?

NO.

Most people don't come on here making outlandish predictions claiming to have knowledge to outcomes that haven't even taken place yet (e.g., Michigan D-Coordinator aka THE SEARCH FOR GERG, this little diddy on OSU sanctions).

And on top of that most people don't post in a format that strongly suggests they need to see a shrink or pay to bang out that (preferably black) hooker down the corner.

But to get both in the same poster?  Do not want.

Not THE KNOWLEDGE's best work (not that his work is ever that good to begin with). For those of you not used to the knowledge, he basically claims to know how something will turn out but never reveals it. Then, after it is revealed and it's common KNOWLEDGE, he praises himself for KNOWING without any proof that he actually KNEW.

In other words, he's CAPTAIN HINDSIGHT.

Btw. Mutiple All-America honors for Houma? A FB being the most important commitment? lol riiiiiiiiiiiiight...
