Okay, who in the Purdue scheduling dept thought this one up ? To play EMU on the second game of the year when they could schedule a patsy like every other B1G team does . You look great if you win but what credit do you get if you lose ? Now there's no way for Purdue to get to the CFP.

If anything can be said about Vlad it is that he is old school. He doesn't bend to the fashions of the times. Like a good Huron warrior he rides a horse shirtless. I'm sure he drinks Dos Equis, thinks kindly of his Swiss banker and reads Corinthians 6 (9-11) on a regular basis.

Way back when (I was there) EMU used an energy drink BEFORE Florida....

They converted a 4th and 15 in the rain on the final drive to keep it going. Then just ran a few dives up the gut down to the 5 to set up the chip shot. Love it!
