Go Blue Eyes

Even if Harbaugh does come who is to say that he won't run the spread and players like Hart will keep their commitment with Michigan?

We could even see a few commits to Standford switching over to Michigan.  I would have to believe a commit to Stanford is going to realize that Stanford will not be the same without Harbaugh and Michigan is indeed a team on the rise.

I thought he was a life long UM man.  Now the talk is he will commit to sparty if RR is gone.  So he would rather be green and play for MD then be blue, continue to be a Michigan guy and play for another coach.  By the way, if there is a new coach, he probably won't be chopped liver.  Don't get this logic.  Should we stop supporting UM because the coach changes.  A coaching change may be something to consider as a QB or slot guy  .... but a DLineman ???

He has been hedging his bets for most of the season, even before the current blog uproar about Dave Brandon said he'd make no decision until after the bowl game.  Hard to know of course but I follow the blog closely and have sensed that Zettle's cooled on Michigan partly because he wanted to see how RR fared, and partly because MSU has put together a great season.  He's commented that he likes their coaches.  Even if RR stays as our coach, I would not bank on Zettle becoming a Wolverine.

That, and here come a lot of "ifs."  If RR was pushed out, then DB would have only taken such action if JH is committed to UM and becomes the new UM Head Football Coach.  If a kid was a life long UM fan and Jimmy Harbaugh became the new head coach, then don't you think that the kid would then really really look forward to the UM experience?

Of course, 18-year old kids are impressionable for different reasons.

i am sure you do this every week, but can you clarify how michigan is ranked 6th when they have the third highest average in rivals and scout, and the 4th highest  on espn?  seems like some people see 6 and open the window and move to the ledge.  please talk us down.
