2015 Season Review

the event all readers of this blog have been waiting for is finally here
.
THE KNOWLEDGE has returned to these very pages after soaring and basking in glory in the summer
.
yes
.
in an article to be revealed on these very pages soon, THE KNOWLEDGE will provide an extremely rare look at the past in order to show how certain highly irregular anomalies in the space time continuum brought about the hiring of Jim "Le Harba" Harbaugh at Michigan
.
the original choice after Hoke's firing was a different coach, and if not for these anomalies, that person would have been coaching Michigan now. these anomalies have in years past, caused Michigan's season to head in the wrong direction. but, in this case, they helped Michigan
.
THE KNOWLEDGE did not reveal this earlier because the very act would have caused the anomalies to act differently. hence, the rare lookback
.
yes
.
in this post, however, THE KNOWLEDGE will review the 2015 season. this revelation is not expected to cause any trouble with the irregular anomalies
.
yes
.
many is the number of fools who are predicting a 7 or 8 win season
.
these people look back at the past and try to understand the future. their attempts are futile, and they are incorrect
.
THE KNOWLEDGE, however, knows not only the future but the information about the future, thus, THE KNOWLEDGE can reveal the future as he sees fit
.
yes
.
contrary to the expectations of some people, Michigan will not win the national championship
.
Michigan will finish the regular season 10-2
.
with 1 loss in out of conference play and 1 loss in Big Ten play
.
that loss will not be to ohio state
.
yes
.
there are still some fools who do not believe THE KNOWLEDGE
.
as time proceeds and makes the future the past, and the results revealed by THE KNOWLEDGE are proven to be true, THE KNOWLEDGE shall soar
.
and leave every doubter in a trail of dust
.
yes
.

I agree with The_Knowledge. If you want more details on this season, keep reading. This is from my annual prediction I email my brother:

M 17, Utah 6: Michigan comes out looking strong and convincingly beats a good Utah team, controlling them better than the score indicates. M fans get over-irrationally hyped about the coming season.

M 27, OSU 3: M overpowers a weak beaver squad

M 57, UNLV 14: UNLV gets a couple late scores as you and Anna (my brother and niece) get in the game as part of the 7th string defense

M 17, BYU 27: Expectations are brought back down to earth as M has trouble handling the BYU offense

M 21, M 20: Michigan squeaks by the terrapins

M 31, NU 16: puts to bed the M00N references

M 19, MSU 13: Cook is good, but Stribling makes his case for all-Big 10 honors with 2 picks, Peppers houses a return, the d-line is able to hold up against the sparties for the first time in ages. Taco Bell unsung player of the game is Wormley.

M 27, M14: The gophers don’t scare me this year. Last year was their year. Harbaugh >>> Kill.

M 45, R 7: payback for last season’s Gary Novapocalypse and the reffing blunder at the end. Darboh catches 13 for 130 yards.

M 44, IU 9: Rudock is really rolling now…

M 13, PSU 14: until he runs into Anthony Zettel. Losing him to PSU was a Uge transition cost going from Rich Rod to Hoke.

M 28, OSU 27: What’s your deal, Urban? Drake Harris has M fans salivating over what will be next season, but who will be throwing him the pigskin in ’16?

So that’s 10-2 and 7-1 in the conference. M and OSU both finish 7-1, but UofM gets the head-to-head tiebreaker.

M 31, Neb 10: Neb goes 5-3 in the west and wins a convoluted 5 way tiebreaker with Iowa, Minny, Wiscy, and Purdue. The west sucks and Neb proves it in the championship game. (remember OSU 59-0 over Wiscy last season?)

Michigan rises to #5 in the polls, but has too much ground to make up and misses out on the Final 4. We go to a NYD bowl and lose that because Harbaugh is bringing back Bo’s Michigan.

11-3 overall. If you think that’s farfetched, remember Hoke went 11-2 his first season. Harbaugh has better talent than Hoke had (except Denard) and is a much better coach. It could happen.

I would say 10-3 or 9-4 including the bowl game.

1-1 against Utah and BYU

2-0 against OrSU and UNLV

1-1 against MSU and OSU, probably beat MSU. OSU just has too much offensive firepower

1-1 against Minny and PSU, as much as it pains me to say we'd lose to either

4-0 or 3-1 against MD, NW, Rutgers, Indiana. I could see a trap game at Maryland

Bowl game would be a toss up, but I'd like oiur chances in Orlando or Tampa. Would love to see us get back somewhere between 8-5 to 10-3. 7-5 and then losing the bowl game would be disappointing for sure.

I'd rather see 9-4 or 10-3 with one of our wins coming against MSU or OSU than 11-2 with our only losses being to those two.

"Except Denard"......as much as I appreciated him then, the more I watch reruns, the more I realize that Denard's talent was off the charts.

It will be a long time, if ever, until we see another Denard Robinson.  I watched UTL I again last night.  Denard was not perfect, but he was amazing in that 4th quarter.  I still rank that as the best game I ever saw live.

The KNOWLEDGE is back....all is right, more or less, with the universe.

Aaaaaaand... The season can begin! Where the hell have you been? I truly hope that no one does anything to alter the beautiful future that has been laid out for us. Go Blue!

I like the report from our future.  One question Knowledge...

Do we look competent on the field and sidelines or do we fall backwards into that record?

Thank you for gracing us once again.

we just don't see the world through the same eyes, cause if you downvote the knowledge you might as well downvote humanity itself.

The KNOWLEDGE recognizes that there are doubters among our faithful band, and yet he extends to them the olive branch that he is leaving "...every doubter in a trail of dust." Obviously, the KNOWLEDGE chose these words carefully, allegorically speaking, reminiscent of a trail of bread crumbs. Game by game, the results will verify HIS voracity and, as the doubters see the full fruition of HIS revelations, they will become enlightened believers. Hail to the KNOWLEDGE and FFFFFF the anomalies. But, we beat Utah, am I right???
