Zero-Day Muppets Comment Count

Well, that's one streak of days stretching into the thousands down. Bonus for those five gloating meatheads ESPN showed at every opportunity: the guys who painted "1" on their chest don't have to change anything to be accurate tomorrow as long as they sit separately. The "8" guy will have to sit at home and cry for a week.

Muppets? Muppets.

And you can't have one without the other…

Somehow that was a sign of intelligence...  But bigtime props to Stephen Bardo for the "bitter beer face" reference at Izzo.  That was priceless!

I kept waiting for the shoe to drop, but it never came.  And the way we were playing D, I knew this was going to go down to the wire.
I really love watching this team when they come out like this.  Tough, Ballsy play from Morris, Novak, and Douglass - the "veterans".  THJ played with some attitude too, but just needs to put down some shots next time out - can't wait to watch him as a soph.  ONIONS!  Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I like Horford's game.  Good hands, grabs rebounds.  Had some nice Def play vs Green.  Morgan and Horford are the future!
But Lucas and Green are like 2 horror-show freaks - you gotta kill them 5 times before they go down.  Let's hope we can hold those guys off later on this season and send those two home with their tail between their legs.

Stu has ice-water in his veins

Novak did everything a leader needs to do

D-Mo played all 40 minutes - 17 pts, 8 assists, 4 reb

Michigan out-rebounded MSU at the Bres...

That's a nice win right there. Huge shot by Stu when we needed it the most. Happy for the upper classmen and maybe our young team will learn what this feels like and use it going forward. It's been a tough few weeks for this squad, so this is a big win. Love to shut those green bastards up for a night. Go Blue!!!!!

This feels so good after what has seemed like forever.  No seniors, 1 highly rated recruit, we led at Sparty the entire second half.

It's so great to see some basketball muppets.

ESPN just ran the highlights again.

Steve Levy started out with the obligatory "Michigan hasn't beaten Michigan State in blah blah blah"

Then it was the Zack/Stu/Braylon fest highlights.

Suck it Sparty.

Gosh, I love those muppets.  When Douglass hit that three I went absolutely insane.  My roommate (a non-Wolverine) was taken by surprise.  Happy screaming at TV is so much better than angry screaming at TV.

Watched from girlfriend's ER room while she was getting checked out for appendicitis. Young doctors came in to watch the last 3 minutes. Actually kind of a cool experience in an otherwise really shitty day.

First of all, to filter out sports that count and sports that don't and then fabricate a "streak" is pathetic.  To show up at games with the fictional "streak" painted on your torso is, well I can't even begin to describe how dopey that is.  Let's not be those kind of fans and prove we're as better than Sparty as we purport to be.

What amazed me is that this is the first time Michigan has won in the Breslin Center since 1997. That's Izzo's second year at MSU. That's the entire Beilein, Amaker, and Ellerbe era ago. Ellerbe! Do you know how much I hated Ellerbe? And he's the last guy to do it. Ellerbe! In 1997!
I was in high school in 1997. Brian was a freshman in 1997. Bill Clinton was president in 1997. My brothers were all still Michigan fans in 1997. Joe Paterno
Do you know how long ago 1997 was? This long ago:
Can you even name the Spice Girls anymore? Um, lemme try: Yoga Spice, Moulin Rouge Spice, Bitch Spice, Token Spice, Cosplay Spice? Damn, 0/5. I don't remember. Because 1997 was that long ago.
Here's hoping it doesn't take 14 years until the next one.

Did anyone catch how whats-his-face made some tongue-in-cheek comments about Little Brother Michigan in basketball? The curse has switched over.

I dont know anything about the silliness of streaks. But Tim Hardaway Jr, METRICS and Jordan Morgan have never played in a game where MSU beat Michigan. Same for like more than half our contributers

Let the good times roll, people. Enjoy your weekend

That game was great...except when my Comcast froze with ~1:20 left in the game.  Yup, froze.  Unfroze about ten minutes after the game.  I'd be super pissed, but the silence from the armpit of e. lansing gives me comfort and joy.

haha im pretty sure U of M sports are not going to provide that happiness. What happened to U of M dominance...?? The tides have changed u have to admit that. Spartan football on the rise, we wont be as good as this year always. but better than the past consistently...Sparty bball on the verge of a Power program in the rankings of top 5 in the country...i no this year is rough, but honestly 2 of 3 years regular seasons dont live up to expectations. Dont u guys think its odd that u have to scrap to get back into the fight for the state of michigan. Michigan will not always be as bad as they have been of late either.

U of M shot hot. good win.

What happened to full words and grammar?  "I no this year is rough", "Dont u guys think its odd that u..."

C'mon sparty, don't fall into the stereotype.  Of course, your arguments are weak as well...Your football is not "on the rise".  They had a couple of lucky wins and one of the weakest schedules in the conference.  Next year, they play varsity teams and lose some of their most valued convicts (oops, I mean "players").  Sparty bball isn't on the verge of top 5; it's on the verge of missing the tourney (and graduating its best player).

You had a nice little run while The Error was our football coach.  Even when we were supposedly losing the battle for in-state recruits to State, however, MSU could only muster 2 of the top 10 players in the state.  Just 2.  How do you think that's going to go in the future?  Combine Hoke with the drying up of the Renaissance line and you've got nothing but scraps and an overrated coached with an anger management problem.

Savor those three years.  Maybe you'll have another three in sixty years.

Did anyone capture a screenshot of the meathead crew after the loss?

What about a shot of Izzo whining and looking just like one of the monsters from "Where the Wild Things Are"?
