One Frame At A Time: Indiana
A deep ball! In the wild! This is a very exciting development.
[Hit THE JUMP for much more of that, as well as plenty of Harbaugh and a surprise battle for #1.]
As always, click the links/stills to open each GIF in a lightbox, and don't forget to vote for your favorite at the end of the post.
HONORABLE MENTION
Chesson's first touchdown (end zone view).
Chesson's second touchdown.
Chesson's third touchdown (all-22).
Chesson sets up first-and-goal.
Overtime Buttdown.
Darboh's eventual game-winner.
Delano Hill sticks Sudfeld.
Denard Rudock up the middle.
Denard Rudock pump and run.
Rudock celebration.
Peppers screen for first-and-goal.
Harbaugh head-scratcher.
Rudock to Butt.
Smith Rage.
Smith spins into the hole.
Impressive Dymonte Thomas open-field tackle.
This signal: still a thing.
This signal: also disturbing.
False start timber.
10. Bad Times Bros
Much of this game: not fun at all!
9. What Bleepin' Happened?
Incidentally, I said the same thing in my living room.
8. Juuuuuuuust A Bit Offside
I might like the still more than the GIF.
7. Sideline Surrender Cobra
Nice catch and all, but watch the woman on the right. Also, that may be the most conveniently located academic center in the country.
6. Slide Into Your DMs Like oh no this went horribly wrong
The still is oddly beautiful. So is the GIF, in a very different way.
5. Harbaugh Disagrees
I don't think that explanation quite did it for him.
4. Fourth And Everything
Rather close call, that.
3. Finish Them
Now you can all breathe again.
2. A Friggin' Laser
And a little dab.
FRAMES OF THE GAME: SPARTY VS. SMOOTHITRON
In a shocking upset, neither of the GIFs of the week are from this game. Instead we have a battle between a scene from a Brad Paisley video and an edit based on a press conference quote.
No, seriously.
I would never encourage you to watch a Brad Paisley video if it weren't for a good cause, but you're going to want to check out the 1:35 mark, perhaps with your speakers off. Or you can believe that this is really in there, though I've edited out the Paisley:
We owe a great debt of gratitude to the Michigan sleeper agent who worked on that production. We salute you, anonymous hero.
In the other corner, an already tremendous presser quote from Graham Glasgow became something even greater thanks to the work of Smoothitron:

Words escape me. (A wonderful little detail: Rudock in the audience. We salute you, too, Smoothitron.)
Voting this week should be quite interesting.

That's amazing...

Harbaugh does that. He'll go through an entire interview and not blink once.

Yep, had to point that one out to my wife who was barely paying attention.
I also like the kid wearing the Georgia sweatshirt in #7.

Since we're doing stuff from not our games, I really enjoyed some of the hijinks lil Red was up to last week, and would like to see a gif of him deflating his nose.

Would've been fine with 2 .gifs
Oh thank you .gif gods for these gems...two beauts for me to use for all eternity.

Got my vote. A picture is worth a thousand words and that expression was worth a million. Priceless.

Reminds me of the US Open chip in Tiger had years back.

That laser-throw, man . . . that is a sign of a confident QB. He knew exactly where he was going with that ball and fit it in a tiny window.

gif was so funny it needed to be shared. Thanks to Smoothitron for that one!

Seriously how can that not win? It's LSUFreek-level. Tremendous.

I love this. Darboh puts his arms out in a basket as if he's catch a baby falling from a burning building, and then he cradles it in his arms as if he's saying "I've got you, baby. Everything gonna be alright!" while he trundles through the back of the end zone.

After dropping 4 or 5 babies and splattering them all over the ground in the last 3 months, you'd be extra careful too.

I love watching Rudock punch the ESPN logo into existence in the Rudock celebration gif.

I know that all artificial fields have the black rubber pellets, but cumong man. Our white jerseys were caked with the stuff. Every tackle was in a cloud of black. That is worse than most high school fields.
November 18th, 2015 at 9:09 AM ^
That got my vite. Pretty much summed up the entire game for me.

Harbaugh's glasses be like
November 18th, 2015 at 10:13 AM ^
Seriously though. I feel like the way De'veon is fired up at the end of the Smith Rage run is the way this whole team is feeling. I know I am.

The Spartan delivering pizza is beyond awesome thanks for highlighting.

Is it just me, or does it seem inexplicably dangerous to have glass doors and windows in your endzone?

That was the single most glorious offside ever.
