Michigan State Highlights Comment Count

Chris of Dangerous Logic must be hopped up on goofballs to shoot this out so quickly, but we all benefit:

Drew Dileo is The Threat. It is done.

Just watched it again focusing only on Tom Gholston and he was a total non-factor.  Now Of course it was a Michigan highlight reel so if he made a good play it wouldn't be there, but at the 4 minute mark true freshman TE AJ Williams is assigned to block him alone and seems to do so with ease.   And on the short yardage running downs he is removed from the field entirely, which seems unusual for a 280 lb DE.

of two 5' 11" players: Denard Robinson and Drew Dileo that defeated Narduzzi's "unnecessary roughness" defense today.

Denard had a decent day on the ground too - 96 yards, 4.8 ypc.

Both teams were pretty even in all stat categories today, except Michigan outrushed MSU for the first time in forever.

usually don't have too many highlites.  Honestly what did MSU have 3-4 highlite worthy plays in the game?

I'm not even sure I want to watch the whole thing again, I will, but seems the moment where Brunettes become important in life is the only real highlite worth watching.

Does anyone know about injuries sustained during the game? Did Raymon Taylor return after injuring his arm on that play down the sideline where he was flagged for pass interference?

I needed to see the final score again, because as I read some of the threads and comments on this board, I started to think maybe I'd only dreamed that Hoke & Co. earned a victory.

We did WIN, right? As in, the Spartans LOST?

celebration penalties.  He said the flags against the michkey-mouse stuff in the end zones deserves a flag, but what do you expect a bunch of kids to after a game-winner against a rival.

It look like the pressure to win may have affected Robinson's passing game. This was big must win since MSU had it's winning streak and we were at home. I'm glad the team came back and won. Next week against NE, Robinson will have a much better game!

It was an ugly game, but I will take an ugly win over a loss any day. Dileo was in full beast mode today. Also, this defense is playing amazing right now. Nothing over 13 points in five straight games. I have to guess they are top 15 nationally in defense, and number one or two in the B1G. I am sure someone will toss the numbers around when they get the chance.
