Yeah… so the site was a little goofy for a while. Why did this happen? I don't know. I put up Tim's press conference recap and then did nothing. I come back and I've got 30 panicked emails. Drupal is very sorry about that.

If it happens again the fix is "click this button" so it shouldn't take nearly as long now that I know what the magic words are.

UPDATE: Okay, maybe panic a little. This has happened a couple times today and evidently I'm going to have to find a more permanent solution.

I was at a bit of a loss as to what to do with the internet when MGoBlog wasn't a functional part of it. If that happens again and lasts too long, I may need counseling. Also: why is the Drupal guy angry?

I saw something on the page to the effect of "click to view administrator options." I clicked on it so I could try and fix things for you, but it spit back at me something about not having authorized access. Anyhow, I tried. It's the thought that counts, and in the end all is well again.

I am on the email list. Not being all that tech savvy I started to wonder if I was missing a simple few clicks of a mouse or something. This episode adds to a long list of why I hate computers. Freakin drupal.

So I Googled it and saw it was web-site creation shareware. I figured it was a temporary mistake. I thought about creating my own site while Drupal was up, but I'm too lazy and Brian is better at it. So, now where were we? Oh yea, almost forgot. Fire RR!!!

Yeah I noticed the same thing with the time change. Its an easy fix though, just go to My account->Edit and reset your time zone. Also, I have mGoBlog set to my homepage and when the Drupal gave the mGoDeath message I felt like I was watching the end of The Truman Show. "You want another slice?" "No, I'm OK." "What else is on?" "Yeah, let's see what else is on."

I was at work and coming off a previous week of me opening MSNBC and getting a virus....shutting me down for the morning and having to do the walk of shame around the office. So when that came up I totally went kamakazi on the computer and held the off button....thinking I would stop any virus that might have happened. Needless to say, I got the cold sweats. Luckily this time it was just the Drupal thing or I might not have a job. I will say that I stayed away from Mgo for about a day. Then took the chance today....this blog truly is like a drug...I can't stop for anything.

I admit, I had bad visions of the site never returning that ran through my head. Being exiled in Pennsylvania and surrounded by PSU fans, where would I ever find another good source of Michigan athletics??? Thank god it's fixed. Thanks Brian!

Of the 30 panicked emails, 10 were about how Drupal needs to be fired and we need to get a real website management software like Wordpress in here, six of the emails were calling for calm and suggesting that Drupal be given more time to work out the kinks, four were wondering where the UFR was so they could break down why the site went down, three were insider tips on why the website went down that you won't find anywhere because it's a conspiracy inside the athletic department, and seven were spam. That's my hunch anyway.
