i hate everything sometimes. we are probably one solid, top-50 win from being a bubble team and we've lost like 6? 7? games against ranked teams by less than 10 popints. DAMMIT

And the free throw line.

Being somewhat positive, they lost because they are young, and if the team stays together, we're going to be GREAT next year.

I love Novak and everything he brings each night, but he is asked to do way too much down low.  Novak has huge testicles, but Michigan got killed on the boards and it was making me crazy watching Wisconsin get offensive rebound after offensive rebound.  This team will not take the next step until they get a true physical power forward down low that does not have a physical disadvantage to do all of the dirty work needed to win.

Morgan is developing into a really nice player and I think he still has a huge upside.  However, he seems to make an extra unecessary move at times when he gets the ball in a good position to score.  He did that a couple of times tonight.

Even with a loss, Michigan is a fun team to watch and I think this has been Beilein's best coaching job at Michigan so far.

If the strength and conditioning staff can get Horford to improve his body the way they did with Morgan, he will be the rebounder and shot blocker we need. Hopefully Smotrcyz can get his shit (shot) together so that he can see more minutes at the four, which should also theoretically help with the rebounding.

Webbs timeout, 2006 Crable, 2007 Crable, The Worse Refreed Hockey Game in the History of REd Berenson last year, and the Crazy BTT shot last year..... I dont feel bad about this at all after thinking about those..

This is the first year I've watched BB in a long time.  Heartbreaking losses sure, but our players are as good as any (talent level).  Young and making too many mistakes, but pretty spectacular.  Morris, Morgan, and Hardaway are all special talents if they can take the next step - Morris finish those lay-ups b/c he looks like he can get to the basket at will (to say nothing of his incredible passing), Morgan finish strong at the basket every time, and Hardaway looks like he can do it all.  I mean, all of it.  What happens if Novak and Douglass hit their 3's?

Which, by the way, I thought Beilein's teams were supposed to run around and shoot 3's all day?  Not even close.  They get to the basket and hammer it down often enough.

These guys are all back?  I'm in for the next several years at least.  They're fantastic

Prett much sums it up.  Why did all the announcers refuse to call it the totally lucky wild bomb that it was?  I mean it went in and that's fair enough but come on.

Really can't complain that much - it was lost at the free throw line.

got SEVENTEEN MORE shots than we did.  They had 7 more offensive rebounds, 6 fewer turnovers and 2 more steals.  They shot only 21-58 from the floor to Michigan's 20-41.  But geez!  Give a team that is pretty good that many EXTRA opportunities and they're bound to toss one in.

It sucks, but the things mentioned are things that Michigan can control.  Box out and take care of the ball.  M defended very, very well.  They just gave Wisconsin too many chances.

Those are the kinds of things that happen when a very young team plays a very experienced team.  That they can hang in these games is actually a testament to their talent, the effort they put out, and especially the coaching ability of John Beilein.  Good things are coming for this team

more.  I have said all along that this team is a little undermanned, has no depth and is inexperienced.  But they have improved and their effort is never in question.

Like any team at any level, you have to lose some like this one in order to learn how to win them.

like Chuck Norris punched me in the dick when that three bank went in. I usually give other teams credit but that might have been worst shot that any team has ever lost to. Shouldn't never gotta to that point though. Morris has to be mentally stronger than that. Two fts and that seals the deal, instead we virtually end our season on the luckiest game-winning shot ever seen.

This team is going to be so hungry this offseason. Coming so close to so many good teams and not dancing might be good in the long run for such a young team.

...novack's shooting in the last 2 games, including an easy reverse layup that was not attempted with 4-5 minutes left in game, and instead an easy block for one of the many wisconsin dorks. this loss sucked.

I was the N in Michigan tonight. Everything was ridiculous and hype right until the end and then it felt like getting kicked in the nuts repeatedly. Just letting that guy get loose off the inbounds, so simple and fundamental and yet te worst thing they did all night.

Your odds of beating teams as good as Wisconsin, Ohio State, or Purdue with only two very modestly talented juniors as upperclass starters are just not going to be in your favor. The fact that they had a 17-shot disadvantage and it still took a ridiculously improbable shot at the buzzer by a pure freshman to beat us should say something about the character of our kids, and the kind of coaching they're getting.

Who at the start of the year would have even thought that this game would have meant anything?  This team has progressed way, way beyond any expectations.  It sucked they lost, it sucked how they lost, but this team will grow from this and will be better prepared next year for these situations at the end of games.

I don't know what was worse, the bank shot or the horrible Evan Turner flashback that followed. Yeah that sucked, but these kids give me great hope for the future. I like the direction coach B has this team headed.
