Aubrey Solomon Decommits Comment Count

So it turns out the Georgia 247 post was the one to read into.

As Solomon said in the note, Michigan will get a chance to bring him back into the fold when he takes an official visit this fall. In the interim, the coaches will continue to push hard for four-star UT DT Jay Tufele, and we may see some names that haven't been mentioned around here in a while—Popo Aumavae comes to mind—pop back up on the board.

EDIT: 247 has an article up on Solomon's decommitment, and, well...

"A day or two ago, they sent my mom a card thanking us for going to the Michigan bbq, but we never went," Solomon said. "I do not know which recruit they were talking to, but it was not me. It was just a little heartbreaking, for me to supposedly be so high on their list, for them to confuse me with someone else. Plus they spelled both of my names wrong after I told them, but that was not the main issue. I guess they do not have tabs on me."

...that's not ideal. Solomon mentions his mom "loves" Georgia and that he didn't consult her before making his initial commitment. Even with the return trip scheduled, Georgia looks like a big favorite now.

I make up to $90 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around $40h to $86h%u2026 Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link... Just listened to a former OL and DL on a local Houston sports radio show on this topic. They made fun of the kid and told him to grow up and said he would regret this decision later on. They stated that they received form letters as well that were mistaken from their respective recruiters.

Sorry, but they, you and basically anyone in the world that criticizes the player for having his already wavering commitment pushed over the edge by such carelessness is just WRONG!

THIS was a FAIL; it  was sloppy execution of a play that got the QB strip sacked for a TD,  a TD pass dropped in the end zone, dare I say a punt snap dropped as time expires and recovered by the other team for a game winning TD.

I use these analogies simply to show that if any of them happened (and we know they can unfortunately) ALL of these posters saying the kid needs to grow up would going apopleptic over it.

The kid handled this with class, we should do the same!

If he was 100% committed to Michigan, I don't think he decommits.  Either way, this does not look good.  I'm sure the media and Ess-E-SEE folk will throw this out there whenever they are given the chance and they should.  With Harbaugh and Michigan having such a great presence and coverage throughout the off-season, you take the bad with the good.  Unfortunately this isn't good, live, learn, and move on.

Momma's boy or Michigan man ? Always respect your Mom's opinion, but bottom line football is a man's sport. Maybe Georgia is a nice comfy spot for Aubrey and Mom. Twisted blue steel? No way. Hope he chooses to be a man with Michigan. If not, got luck with life young man.
