for your thoughtfull response.  I sincerely appologize for getting the date of the Spring Game wrong by 1 day.  I did a quick google search and accidentally noted the date of the 2010 Spring Game.

Hopefully my massive error hasn't caused you too much frustration today.  Sadly, given you're response, I can tell that it has, and for that, I am truly sorry.

Neat.  This almost brings back memories of the stadium cam.  And a hundred Michigan fans calling in to the athletic department to tell them that the "N" in the south end zone was backwards.

Was there money allocated for a new sound system with the scoreboards or was this planned in the original construction costs?

Thanks for posting this.  Does anyone know if they're going to be replacing the exterior of the scoreboard at all (i.e. the large block M that reads Michigan across the center) or is it just the screen/sound system?

This seems like a great opportunity to do so given Brandon's commitment to phasing that logo out and replacing it with a simpler maize M.

Curious if they are speeding up progress on the Basketball Practice Facility. Haven't heard anything in the last month, but I gather it is slowly moving along. Haven't seen any live cameras updating that construction projection.

It's ... surprising fun to watch.  I like watching the people walking around inside the top of it.  Craziness.

Glad it's happening too!  I'm really excited to see what the new boards look like.

They are tearing down the scoreboard to have a Notre Dame like score board with no video on it. With the left over space it is going to have a Dominos logo

how sweet would it be to buy the university seal and then mount it on your roof or side of your house.  i would consider that person all in....

I didn't know this was happening so soon. I reiterate the question above asking if we know what these are going to look like. Is it going to be pure video board, or are we going to have a bigger version of what we're tearing down (I kind of like the way the old ones were, just not the lack of size and HD)?

Also, are we in fact putting some more rows of seats in before we put them up? I know that was tossed around, but is it actually happening?

there is a crazy amount of negging on this thread. even the most boring or obvious comments are getting a (-1). Strange...

i wish they had a pictoral representation of the finished boards. i wanna see how close to godzillatron status the new boards will be!

The only way I can tell this isn't a still photo are the flags just to the right of the scoreboard.  Pretty cool either way, though; it'll be interesting just to pop in intermittently during the afternoon.
